Ashley Store Shreveport, LA

Manager called me "combative" after I had to call the store more than once to find our when my furniture would be delivered. He kept talking over me and interrupting me rather than acknowledging the fact that the delivery was outside the window I was promised the delivery would occur in when I originally purchased the furniture. I really don't think it's professional when I have to remind someone at the management level that I'm the customer and ultimately we have the same goal - to get my purchase delivered. The salesman was courteous and personable, but I don't think I'll shop that this location because of the way the manager acted over the phone.

Today Todd Berdan helped me find the perfect accent chair for my living room. I also got six throw pillows to match my existing sofa and loveseat and my new chair. Thanks so much for your help.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!Woooahhh... Bought a couch paid extra cash to have delivered and couch had a rip on front. Sent someone to look at it, he took pic and left. Month later they wanted to sew the couch... But said it was their fault and would order another one. The POS salesman wanted us to pay gas money for something they ripped... Do Not Shop Here!

We purchased several furniture items today. The sales person, Bob Baker, was amazing. He was helpful and knowledgeable on all the products we looked at. He did not hover over us allowing us to have privacy to talk alone which I liked.

Upon arrival, we received no help. We wasn’t acknowledged at all. As we was leaving, Floyd asked if we was being helped, and we told him no therefore we would spend our money somewhere where we could get service. Floyd asked if we would allow him to help and due to his outstanding service, we spent over 6k in your store. I was very pleased with his service!

Asia helped us as soon as we walked in. We were on a tight budget and wanted to walk out with furniture and with her help, we got on a payment plan and left with furniture we love. Everyone was very helpful and we were first time buyers so we asked lots of questions and the employees were insightful. Definitely going to be back the next time we need furniture!

If you want a cheap couch that will last less than a year, this is your place. Otherwise don't waste your money. I'm pretty sure the floor models are made better than the ones you receive because they feel completely different. Less than a week, and the couch and loveseat are already caving in.

Walked in on a Thursday knowing we needed a new table. Less than an hour later with the help of the amazing staff (who were very helpful in a non hovering way) walked out with our new table purchased and a delivery date of just two days later. The delivery personnel were very quick and friendly. All in all a wonderful experience.

Floyd provided excellent customer service he was well informed on furniture and mattresses. The only thing that I had an issue with is waiting for items to shipped. Salesman stated within 2 weeks. I will be extremely disappointed if items aren’t in within the 2 week period being that the holidays are approaching.

Floyd sold me a minor accent piece of furniture,about a month ago. I told him I would ask for him if I ever came back. I did today. It was his day off, but he was there to help another customer. I asked for him and he was eager to help - even on his day off! This time I needed an,adjustable king bed base. He showed me the basic and the top of the line. I was in the store with my sister in law about a week ago. What should've been an in and out trip took near an hour. We came in for some decor, our sales person Lesh was great, he offered to help or carry anything for us. He was not the issue and why I am only giving one star. We were waiting at the counter to check out, the older lady on the end was checking us out (Cathy i think is her name). We stood there for about an hour waiting for her to simply swipe our card (nothing hard). After about an hour a gentleman told me that the lady in the middle would get me checked out. It took her less then 5 minutes to check me out!!! I don't know what the issue is with the older lady, but she is giving the company a bad reputation. She can't do her job. I advise everyone to avoid having her check you out.

I would like to share my experience of shopping at Ashley Home Furnishings in Shreveport. The manager, Greg, and the salesperson, Calvin, were both exceptional. They were knowledgeable, kind, and went beyond the call of duty to assist me with my purchase and to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend them.

Kelly Oldham, my sales associate, was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from greeting me when I walked in the store to setting up delivery within 48 hours upon payment. The whole process took 40 minutes—they even matched the internet price for one piece and applied the Memorial Day discount for the other item. Great experience.

Overpriced and incompetent. Literally makes no sense to go to the store since everything is cheaper online. Found my dresser for $200 cheaper on Amazon and they refused to price match. Also they delivered the wrong table…not once but twice! Avoid…

My sales person was Javion Henderson. From the moment i walked in the Ashley Homestore Javion was totally devoted to my well being. He provided a wheelchair for my comfort to aid in my disability to walk over the large and well decorated store. I told Jevion what i was interested in and he whelled me to the rear of the store and showed me the merchandise i was looking for. He gave me several styles to choose from and let me test the comfort of the piece i was interested in. After choosing what i wanted Jevion wheeled me to the front desk where i talked with Ms Karen who made the financing of my merchandise efficiently, quickly and friendly. My visit to the Ashley Home store was a very enjoyable experience. I will return to this store for future purchases. I look forward to working with Jevion and the entire friendly staff.

My experience with this store location was not good. I was greeted and asked if I could be helped. 2 I asked if I could walk around and look for a gif. No one asked to assist me after that. 3 other employees were working and no one said a word until I checked out. Not many places I go I don’t feel welcome and I don’t like bad reviews but tonight I honestly felt uncomfortable. I really needed a nice gift for my son that I could charge due to my funds being limited. I purchased a beautiful vase I can’t even give the checkout person a decent review.

I needed something in stock and able to be delivered before Christmas. Heaven and Ivan helped me find a sleeper sofa, in stock, and they arranged delivery. As long as delivery goes well…this was a 5 star experience. Thank you!

What an absolute mess Ashley Furniture has me and my wife in. Wednesday they delivered our new bed, mattress, and box spring that totaled almost $6000 dollars. They removed the old bed and assembled the new bed. When they tried to put the box springs in, they would not fit. Delivery guys loaded up the trash and said someone will be in contact with you. They assembled the top of the post wrong. When they brought the headboard in, they laid it face down on the floor. When the attached the posts, they drug the headboard across the floor and scratched it uo. The footboard has what looks like a black paint stain on it. They had to ask for a skill saw to cut the foundation boards because they were too long. Nobody called for several hours and my wife called them. They said the wrong rails had been ordered and they were ordering the right ones. They also said they would send someone out today with king size box springs so we could at least sleep on the bed. They came out with that and they would not fit. Was told that they may have some rails that woukd work until the right ones came in, but they stalled that out quick. Conversations have been going back and forth for 2 days and we just find out that the foundation has to be special ordered, but it can't be ordered until Monday and it will be "about a week" once they order it. The rails will be in Saturday...that doesn't do much good. I have a broken leg and our guest room is almost impossible to move around in a wheelchair. So basically, we are told that we just have to suffer for the next 12-13 days because the wrong rails and foundation were ordered by sales in the store. This is not good business practice and I can't believe the mess that this store has placed us in. This was a Christmas gift for my wife and has turned out to be an absolute nightmare and all they can tell us is "sorry".

Our sales person at the Youree Drive, Shreveport. LA Ashley Furniture location was Heaven. Even though Heaven had only been working with Ashley Furniture for a couple of weeks, she had a delightful disposition and the will to find what we were looking for. Her manager, Jamie, was also wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this store and these people.

I have shop at Ashley many times before and never had any problems Shopping at Ashley, this time the atmosphere was different the people wasn’t as nice and One of the salesperson had her kid running around in front of customers in his pj’s not professional at all.

Since I was moving into a new house, I needed smaller furniture for the room I would be living in due to vaulted ceilings. I Walked in and it the man who helped me was very nice. I found the piece I wanted and was told there was a piece just like it but but called a “youth” piece. I had no issues while checking out other than my friend asking what kind of wood it was made out of and the sales person got quiet saying he didn’t know exactly what kind (a very big red flag now). I specifically told them not to build it because I wouldn’t be moving for another 2 weeks and I didn’t want anything happening during transportation. My dad went to pick it up and automatically it was falling apart. the drawers were falling off and the “wood” looks almost like wallpaper put on plywood. it’s a very crappy piece of furniture that is falling apart and if it was used it would most likely break in just a couple of months. I spent $330 on this so I was hoping I could take it back to get a refund. when I called they told me they would have my sales associate call me back. finally I get a call and the sales associate acted as if they knew nothing about it being a cheap piece. I was told if I were to return it I would be paying almost $100 for a restocking fee. I feel as though the salesperson took advantage of the fact that i was young and didn’t know too much about buying furniture. I’m astonished at the attitude of the employees at this place and will never buy a piece of furniture from Ashley’s again.

¡¡DO NOT GET DELIVERY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I will never order from these people ever again. What a nightmare?! I should have just ordered online from Amazon. I ordered in store, after picking out some items. They didn't have it all for a few weeks. Delivery was scheduled and they stained one item and couldn't deliver the other because they couldn't assemble it correctly. I had to call MULTIPLE times to get my missing piece. It still isn't here, 5 days later. They lie and refuse to give me information. Terribly incompetent and negligent. Not worth the hassle. Never again. Also, DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICE PLAN -- you're only buying a headache.

When I bought my sofa online it never said anything about backorder or a delay in receiving it. Now the page for the sofa says backorder and my order status says 5-6 weeks. I would have ordered something different if I knew it was going to take that long or I would have gone somewhere else. Edit: It was delivered in about 3 weeks

Terrence was great and very knowledgeable!

I got a reclining sofa online. I ordered it, within 5 days, it was delivered pre-assembled. The sofa is nice quality and very comfy. I even got the sofa on a great deal because of the memorial day sales. I am very excited about it!

If I could give it zero stars I would.

I was greeted at the door and asked if I needed help looking for anything in particular. As soon as I found what I was looking for, I was immediately helped to write up a ticket and pay. I will be called to set up delivery and hassle-free set up as soon as my items arrive at the store. Extremely friendly and helpful staff all around. Excellent range of styles and choices of different furniture to choose from.

This was the second furniture store my fiancé and I went to, and we were very pleased. They had a huge selection to choose from, and there were quite a few sets we both liked. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially Sarah. They didn’t rush us or push us to buy anything and we ended up going back a day later to buy the set we’d decided on. All the furniture we saw seemed to be pretty good quality, too.

The salesman was courteous and helpful. He gave us time to look and then answered our questions.

Walked in and immediately found exactly what I wanted. The place was empty of customers at the time so all salespeople were at the ready near the front. Keith approached me and was very helpful with placing my order but told me the furniture came with a protection plan and could be financed for 4 years. I was sent to the back service desk to complete the order. The older woman there seemed snippy and I had to pull information out of her. I asked her about the 4 year financing and she looked shocked and said, “no we do 24-48 months.” …. 48 months = 4 years but okay lol. Then she had me start signing things to take out the credit card for their store and the first thing she wanted me to sign was to decline the protection plan. I asked why I was declining it and she said “yes” … I said “why am I declining it if it comes with the furniture?” She just stared at me and I said, “Does it not come with the furniture?” She said no. I said that was odd bc Keith said it came with it and she again just stared at me. I said fine and declined it bc it was more expensive than I cared for. So I waited like 25 mins for her to take care of everything and then she handed me my receipt but none of the paperwork for the credit card I had just opened with them. When I asked her for it she said I didn’t need it. That’s fine but I want proof of what’s happened here since I just spent $1500 with them. She huffily said she could make me a copy and I said I can just take a picture of it if that’s okay. She handed it to me and I took the picture and left. Glad I got the furniture but honestly the experience felt a lot like a car dealership with sales and service people that always have eyes on you.

High quality furniture at affordable prices! We were greeted when we walked in, ushered to the vicinity of what we were shopping for, didn't feel overshadowed by a lurking salesman, so we were more at ease and more comfortable to look around. Although, we were checked on periodically to make sure we didn't need help with anything or have questions which I liked. We didn't feel pressured. After looking over a few items, we found what we wanted and made our purchase. The transition was smooth sailing! I will definitely use them for future purchases!

We were excited to order our beautiful sectional! Ordered it in October & told them i wanted delivered & put together and it arrived in February still missing a piece. I understand how long some furniture has been taking and I tried to be patient. Here are my main issues: Our salesman hardly ever called me to let me know any updates about my furniture. I called them 3 times to try to get information & after they knew we weren't pleased, they called more. So I was very excited about today because my furniture was arriving. Two very nice gentlemen came & I politely told them where I would like it set up. He replied, " No mam, the store in Shreveport said to just deliver it & not set it up". I think I was in shock, & after all I had been through, paid this store, and they literally dropped it in my living room and left. I thought I was going to cry. My living room looks like a warehouse & now my husband & I are trying to put this together???? And why would i want it delivered & not assembled? I will never order from Ashley furniture again being treated this way. Hate to be disappointed, but I am.

I'll never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again. It's been 3 months and I'm still waiting on an order that stated it wouldn't take more than 2 months. It would probably take 5 months to buy a lamp from Ashley Furniture at this point. STOP HAVING SALES IF YOUR INVENTORY CANT KEEP UP.

I understand covid impact on supply chains really I do. But selling furniture on the showroom floor that cannot be had in hand for nearly 6 months is ridiculously bad taste. We looked at three separate pieces of furniture for dining and all were late January or later. I find this asinine because if it cannot be had then do not present it and attempt to sell it unless it can be. Perhaps this is a little persnickety but it's a peeve of mine and an absolute turn off for doing business.

Constantly lied about what pieces of my furniture they had. Ordered it 2 months ago and still nothing. Tired of having to call asking where my furniture is and being told different pieces are missing every time. One day it's a night stand, next day it's my dresser, then now all they have is my bed frame. Never buying from here again.

The store associate honored a lower price listed on a set of dining table chairs even though the price had increased but, it had not been posted on the merchandise. Great doing business with Ashley’s!!!!

I was looking for a couch and wasn't real sure what I wanted. My salesman Greg helped me narrow down my search with a coupleof questions. Then he pointed out the areas I need to go and look and gave me time to look at all of my options. I found one that was very comfortable and hit what I had in mine and or leaning towards. Check out was painless. The price was right and feel confident that I made the right choice.

Management was courteous knowledgeable and prompt to help and answer any questions that I had. Quality furniture, I would recommend this store to people.

I walked in, I knew what I wanted so I spent a quick $500 plus. I walked around looking for more decor. No “can I help you with anything else or nothing”. It was like take my money and go pay and go. As I walked out the store 4 sales people were sitting at a table no “ thank you come back or anything”. I actually wanted a couple of more items, but never again. I normally shop at this location next time I will definitely elsewhere. Very disappointed.

After my back surgery I needed a lift chair. The place sold me a waste of money leather heap lift chair. It’s a leather lift chair that was on sale for $800. Called it the Yandel. It had rained so they put a thick pad on the seat to keep it from getting wet when I tested it out. This made it very comfortable. But when I got it home it is the most uncomfortable chair you ever sat in. And it is not just me. I loaned it to a heart surgery patient that needed a lift chair thanking the uncomfortableness was just me. My friend could not sit in it for making his backside hurt. I have a folded blanket for a seat pad which makes it somewhat tolerable now. But I would’ve never bought this piece of junk. And don’t believe the YouTube review someone made up about it how comfortable it is. It is not.

I have NEVER had such a horrible shopping experience. Purchased a piece of furniture Feb 28th and we still don't have it. I have been outright lied to and given every excuse in the book. There was no offer of compensation for the inconvenience, I had to ask. What I was then told was not even considerable. It was a slap in the face. When we purchased the furniture we were told that Saturday shipping could be done, now they are backing out on that too. Let me say just once more for the record THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST PURCHASING EXPERIENCES EVER! I will be contacting anyone and everyone I can such as news media, BBB, every social media I can think of, every review site, etc. to report this company. I will NEVER deal with Ashley again after this ordeal. My suggestion is that you shop elsewhere. UPDATE: I have spoken with Mr. Robinson, the store manager and he has taken appropriate steps to correct the issues and make up for the inconvenience. I changed my rating based on his ability to provide an amazing customer experience. As a matter of fact my faith in Mr. Robinson has convinced me to give the store another try with my future furniture purchases. Customer service is what makes the difference. I am not a "customer is always right " kind of people but there is a right way to treat others. Mr. Robinson is well versed in that. Oh and one more thing, I forgot to follow advice I regularly give. Never say never. I did that in a moment of anger and now I am eating my words.

Friendly and helpful

We went in knowing what we wanted but needed to see it and go over our options. The experience started off personable and attentive but we ended up being handed off to a completely different sales associate at the end of our purchase. They had our purchase mixed up with another family during check out and we almost ended up financing a full bedroom set instead of a chest of drawers. It was easily fixed. I feel the experience could’ve been more personable and we could’ve also handled this easily ourselves by purchasing it online because that’s basically what the sales associates did. We went in to have a full experience but it was very lackluster.

HORRIBLE ! I ordered furniture in March didn’t receive it until June . The sectional I ordered not only took three months ,but the day I received it , the delivery guys broke it . So now I’m having to wait another month or so just to get the rest of my sectional .

Manager got mad at me because I received a different price at another store that was lower than his price so I told him I would buy from there. Manager then went and called the other store and told them to not sell it any lower than his price. Will use another company to purchase all my furniture.

The salesman (Tyler Allen) went beyond measure to help me get what i needed. I will return in the future to do more business with this young man and company.

Do not pick up furniture yourself. I bought a recliner and in 7 months the back broke off. When I called to ask about warranty they told me because I had picked it up instead of having it delivered the warranty was void. Would have been nice to know beforehand. $600 down the drain.

My sales person is awesome. I've used him each time that I have made a purchase. He works hard to get my order correct and completed. My experience with having to order items and them arriving in a timely manner have been negative. Once I ordered a dining set that took from October to January to receive the entire set because the table was sent after the first month with no hardware to put it together.

I will never go back...worst experience ever..an they wont allow you tp post unless you give 1 star but i will prefer none...Paid cash for a bedroom set an i still have not got a delivery date after 5 months an they gave me a huge hassel about my money

Although no one greeted us once we walked through the doors, I saw 2 employees, one sitting at a table, the other was standing with their backs turned. I approached them and greeted them both and told them what I was looking for. Ms. Cindy who was one of the associates assisted. She asked if we were greeted when we arrived , which I said no ma'am and she apologized. No problem. She was very helpful. I spent over $1500 in your store,cash, plus set-up and delivery. I ask for a complimentary gift(maybe covers for mattresses for full size bed and sleeper sofa) but she said , " nooo, We don't have any gifts but you can purchase some. I declined. I wanted to go elsewhere but decided to go ahead and finish the transaction because I really like the furniture and really didn't have time to look elsewhere.

Being very generous giving them 2 stars here.. Ever since we put our ticket in for our purchases (DEC 2020) it has been a HEADACHE. First bump in the road.. they brought us the wrong bed frame.. we went in the following day and ended up switching bed sets because the one we originally ordered wouldn't be in for awhile and the more expensive one we switched to was in stock.. great! Well they forgot to cancel the bed frame and they still brought it to our house.. waste of a trip of their part. In this trip, the brought our couch which was broken and ripped. We got the difference between the two bed sets the closet we can ($159 difference). Fast forward to the last 2 weeks.. we have spent maybe 5 hours in Ashely Furniture trying to find out where our money went.. we are missing nearly $400! We paid the difference of the bed sets cash and even some extra therefore our financed amount shouldn't have changed.. which wasn't reflected on our account. They charged us multiple $99.99 delivery fees and then they have the audacity to tell us "They are tired of making multiple deliveries to our house" They also delivered the wrong coffee table and still haven't gotten the new one.. Once we get the rest of our things and our money back I will never be shopping here. In total, we have been in this store nearly 8 times to fix things that they messed up.. and I guess this will continue until we get our money back and the rest of our furniture. Not to mention the manager from the other Ashley home store in bossier called us and helped us even though she had nothing to do with us or our order!

Called looking for a sofa I saw on the website online Gregg at the youree drive location said come on over I have it here in display for you to see it's comes in 4 colors 45 mins later he was waiting when I walked in greeted me with a smile and showed me a couple sofas 30 mins later I had purchased an out the door ezy pzy!!!!

I was surprised to find the friendliness and charm i received. I was able to find almost exactly what i was looking for and stsying in my budget. The bedroom furniture I am gonna buy is good quality with some very nice features.

I purchased a dining room set with 4 chairs and a bench three years ago. Now three years later the chairs are sinking in and we CONSTANTLY have to tighten the legs. When I called the warranty company I was told it’s nothing they can do.

After 5 stores and not finding another deal plus the customer service we got at Ashley’s we came back! Very nice selection of furniture and great team of people. From the sale too the warehouse pick up. I shopped numerous places for a kitchen table and finally found three to choose from here that were ideal. Would be a five, but my item was damaged once the box was opened. If the part that arrives in two weeks is great we will have a 5 star.

Nice Furniture

Good morning,, I'm appalled that you would take advantage of a returning customer. I purchased a dining room table and 4 chairs. You charge me $99 to deliver and setup just the table, not the chairs just the table. You will not setup the chairs because they will be shipped free from a different carrier. And to top it all,, I have to wait up to 2 months for delivery. Is this acceptable for your company's standards?

My experience shopping at Ashley’s was great. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by Cameron. He was courteous, patient, and very informative throughout my shopping experience. He checked up on me before I made it back to him and walked around the store with me to tell me more information about the furniture I picked out (price, availability, ETA, etc). I would definitely shop at Ashley’s again and recommend Cameron; he was phenomenally professional.

Walked in and found exactly what we wanted! Our salesman bent over backwards to help us get the furniture we wanted with the prices we wanted!! We got the financing we wanted plus he price matched with internet pricing plus even threw in 2 bed pillows for free! They were all super friendly and ready to help! Will definitely be back!

Terrence was a great Salesman! He greeted me as I walked in the door. He wasn't overly pushy or aggressive trying to get me to buy anything but he was right there to answer all my questions. I was very pleased.

Barbra I believe is her name is so helpful . The sectional I wanted which was $2,500 was too big for my living room and too pricey . She helped me break it into pieces match my price and turned out to be the perfect size . We can’t wait to receive our furniture and will be doing more business with her. I would like to compliment the whole staff as well everyone was nice and helpful .

We picked out living room furniture and a new king size mattress. The salesman followed us around like a hawk. I felt cornered. The furniture came and the end tables were not the ones I chose in the store. I didn't realize until the next morning. I drove to the store to be told there was a 30% restocking fee. I'm stuck with end tables I didn't order. The salesman then called to ask me to arrange pick up for a new bed frame my husband gifted me. It was supposed to be a surprise and be delivered. So much for that surprise. Bed came unassembled. Delivery men were super nice. They couldn't get it together even with me trying to help. Apparently it's a factory error. Waiting another two weeks for a bed.

The store is very well laid out and the selection is very good.

After a horrible experience at a location in Texas I drove 5 hours to this store in hopes they could get my furniture. I went in there and spoke with Terry and his manager Jamie. Within thirty minutes I left there with my furniture ordered and saved over 500.00. They were so friendly. When it came time to deliver my furniture I was out of town due to a family emergency. I had no one to immediately let the delivery crew into my home. They stayed and waited for someone to unlock our door to deliver the set. They also set it up exactly how I wanted it set up. The furniture is beautiful and truly makes my home feel like a home. I will never buy furniture from anywhere else. They completely turned a horrible experience around. I did not encounter a single rude employee while we were in there. They were inviting and completely understood my frustration and worked hard to ensure that my issues were resolved. I’m amazed and forever grateful.

I ordered a sofa, loveseat and chair in February during the President's day weekend online. I have the loveseat and chair, the sofa well that's another story. First it was broken and had to be sent back, then 2 weeks later I was told my delivery was ready only to be phoned back and told "sorry this sofa is also broken" we will order a new one. Last week the new unbroken sofa showed up in a completely different color than the original order making this the 3rd sofa that was sent back. So now a MONTH later I'm awaiting my sofa so I can stop taking days off and get on with my life. Never again will I buy anything from Ashley (Ivan Smith). I could have widdled furniture from scratch by now. Sorry but at this point I'm completely fed up.
