William and Veronica are the kindest and go above and beyond for their customers! They are knowledgeable about all the store’s furniture products from wood styles to tempurpedic mattresses and recommend what’s best for you and your personal needs. They are honest and my family and I appreciated their great costumer service and personability. We did have an overly pushy sales associate, Sheikh, who did attempt to take both William and Veronica’s sale. William helped us earlier in the day but my family and I were indecisive and told him we would come back! When we came back 2 hours later, William was off shift and Veronica greated us at the door ready to help us but Sheikh lied and informed us that he was an informant of William and had our information already; he then opened up a new cart and wanted my family to pay and sign immediately. Sheik then rudely told Veronica to “go away” when she approached me kindly to inform me that William was on his way back to the store for our sale. Additionally, Manager ALEX, did acknowledge/address the issue appropriately. He is a pleasant manager who treats his workers and clients with positivity. All in all, things happen, but I had a great experience at the Torrance - Ashley Furniture and appreciate their service.

We had a great experience at this location! Olga was exceptional and helped my partner and I get exactly what we came for and wanted, a living room couch and a dining table set. We came in with an idea of what we wanted, and what we saw in-store on display wasn't exactly fitting the bill, color and materials wise. She took her time with us and did not try to stop us when we said we'd leave to check out the other furniture stores nearby to compare. When we came back and told her about the other items we saw, she was more than happy to help find us exactly what we wanted. Olga found the perfect items in their catalog online comparable to the ones on display that we liked and got us great deals that fit perfectly within our budget. Super excited to receive our items! Will update my review once items are delivered.
Saeed was awesome! I shopped around for at least 2 months and after going to 6 different stores every couple of weeks, he stood out. He listened and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. My wife and I will definitely be shopping for future furnishings at Ashley solely because of Saeed!

We came in to fix an issue with a order we had on a couch ( they deliver the wrong color ) . The previous associate that helped us didnt quite meet our expectations so we got blessed to get Izaak to help us out. Not only did Izaak help fix the problem but he was extremely patient with us and showing us every available options . We left with smiles and a new couch and a center table for the living. This store is the worst store n customer service. They have a no return policy that sucks. They do not make any exceptions for anything. I had a simple request to exchange a bed footrest for one that did not have drawers because they prevented us to lower the mattress, well they did not allow for that simple request. I spent over $3,000.00 on the bedroom set and the salesman had the nerve to tell me to donate my new set and buy another one and he would give me a good deal, I told him that what he suggested to me was an insult they do not work with customers at all no exceptions for exchange. Do not shop for your furniture there. One other thing if you call the customer service number you get to talk to people that do not speak English, they have a very heavy accent and it is frustrating to try and understand what they are saying.

Everything started out great. Then my furniture was too big and couldn't fit. I was frustrated and wanted to return everything and get my money back. Sales associate Mylissa heard my frustration and came to the rescue. 2nd attempt still no furniture. Had to go back to the store. And find a new living room set. I met with Ati, my first sales rep, to help me find something else. It was like buying a car. I was there for almost 2 hours. She walked with me over the entire store. But not only did I leave with a new living room set. I was able to purchase a rug and coffee table. Within the same price, I paid for the first set. Very satisfied customer. Thank you all, Ati, Mylissa, and the store manager, Alex. For your patience and understanding support. Great customer service.

Jesus from the Ashley store in Torrance was incredible and here’s why: he was friendly, very approachable, not at all pushy, knows how to read the room, and very knowledgeable. He is kind, funny and efficient. I must have purchased 8 furniture items including a couch, bed, nightstand etc. all done with a shipping date set up and zero APR credit approval within 40 min! Ask Jesus anything and go to him in Torrance he will work with you and get you the best options for your needs. He’s also just so cool !!!!!!

Their modular sectional is much better than the one at Bob’s. Veronica showed us you can actually take all the covers off each piece to wash them, the Bobs one doesn’t have this feature. They also had some great sales on small items and lamps. Definitely coming back.

I visited Ashley Furniture today and was helped by Izaak. For context, I just purchased a 1800 square foot townhome and extremely overwhelmed with how I am going to design my furnishings. Do not shop here!! These people are scammers! They sold us a set of couches. One was a 3 seater, the other a love seat. The love seat was as is store display to take home on the same day and the 3 seater was to be shipped to us. These people ordered the wrong 3 seater, and delivered it to us in a completely different color and material. We refused it. Had to wait 4 days.. next delivery - SAME COUCH!! Wrong color and material. Refused again. After multiple attempts to reach the manager, he told us we were sold a discontinued couch and that it wasn't in stock. Now that we were stuck with the loveseat, he told us he would give us different couches and we could just keep the love seat, to come in store the next day and make sure we liked the couches.. to our surprise an hour before we are supposed to come in, another manager calls us and says we are not able to get the new couches the manager promised us. At this point we asked for a refund and they refuse to refund us because the loveseat we do have is AS IS!! YOU GUYS SOLD US A SET OF COUCHES THAT ARE DISCONTINUED!!! Do not shop here!! Scammers!!
Olga did a fantastic job showing us mattress’ and frames. She really understood the style I was looking for. What I appreciated the most was that she wasn’t trying to push styles I didn’t like. She was patient and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. This is the first time I’ve receive this kind of quality service at Ashley’s. In the past, we’ve had very pushy sales reps. I would love to keep coming to see Olga for future purchases.

Update: The manager from Ashley Furniture called me after seeing my review and was very helpful in resolving my issue. They were very helpful and understanding. However, please make sure to read about the protection plan and get the pamphlet prior to purchasing the plan. . . . DO NOT GET THE REGUARD PROTECTION PLAN! My roommate and I bought a couch from this store a year ago and the sales person was telling us about the protection plan for the couch. We were told that the plan would cover anything from pet damage, rips, and any other damages from normal usage. We filed a claim on June 1 of this year and we often checked the website and our email for any updates on this claim but no update came through. It wasn't until I called in today that we were told our claim was denied. We were told that the reason it was denied was due to the fact that the damage was not caused by an accident. The process of this was very frustrating as the protection plan website does not provide you with any updates on your claim. Please beware when they are advertising their protection plan because it is not as good as they make it sound.

William out of the Torrance Ashley’s location is the salesman of the year, we are voting early! He was patient, considerate, not pushy and made good suggestions to find solutions as it took us 5 weeks for the final sale. We had to go back and forth to get measurements 2 times before the 3rd time was the charm. We even went to other Ashley’s in other cities and had to go back to William because he had great follow up with kindness and efficiently of our large purchase that included a living room, and 2 bedrooms! If you want to experience the old fashion kind of service our parents used to get, visit Torrance Ashley’s furniture and ask for William at the front desk!

I didn’t have the best experience at Ashley furniture. I walked in the store to a salesman yelling at a salesgirl talking about how she stole his client, right on the sales floor for all of the customers to hear. Then the same salesman came up to me and I did not want him to help me, because there was no way I would give him any commission. Then I found what I wanted, and asked a girl to help me and when we started talking about the price, she pulled the manager aside and started talking in another language with him and you can tell he was annoyed when I asked for the Memorial Day discount. It made me so uncomfortable to see the faces he was making at her when he responded and she says “we can only give you 5% discount.” I should have left at that point but I was so tired of trying to find something I liked so I caved. The manager was so unprofessional. I regret my purchase and will never buy from Ashely Furniture in Torrance again and will never recommend this place. Just awful.

Evan was a great salesman who really explained the differences in the various couch models to us, the variations in materials and even made us feel comfortable going back and forth to the various models and repeating the information because we kept forgetting. He really made buying here a great experience and we would highly recommend him for his professionalism, personality and his approachable demeanor.

We purchased 2 bedroom sets at Ashley. On the day of delivery, the setup team discovered that one of the beds had been shipped with an incorrect piece. They left it unassembled on the ground and had me call customer service and make a case. I figured no big deal, but we called week after week only to be told they had no update on our case. Even though this was 100% their mistake, we were told they would not give us a replacement bed or a refund, we had to just sit and wait. Finally after over a month and a few threats to dispute the charge with the credit card company, they sent someone out to replace the bed. I’m not sure who in this process is to blame, but I’ll certainly never buy from Ashley again.

He never made me feel pressured to make a decision on the spot. I used to be a big fan of Jerome’s Furniture but after getting a great deal on bedroom furniture I purchased last year, I came back Ashley Furniture to invest in a new couch and chair as my purchase at Jerome’s back in 2019 didn’t hold up. So happy with my purchase and can’t wait to see it in my home!

I originally wrote a positive review about the team at Ashley Home Store Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance on 4/30, but I am retracting it and leaving a negative review due to their actions after the sale: Today's post 5/6/24: I no longer recommend Ashley Home Store and here are my new feelings and why........ I originally wrote this review when I completed the transaction in store, but unfortunately things turned badly for me after receiving delivery. When I bought the furniture the items were not in stock and therefore I wasn't able to try out the couch but decided to proceed any way as I felt that I could exchange the items if needed. However, this is not the case. When I received delivery Ashley Store sent the wrong hardware so my children's bed could not be completely installed and now I have to wait weeks for a technician to come out here again and fix the problem. There was also a rip in the bottom mesh of the couch that needs to be repaired. Furthermore, the sales associate Sha at Ashley Home with whom I originally praised sold me two "Bunkie Boards" with my two 10in twin mattresses for the bunk beds. He highly recommended these boards and convinced me to buy them. However, they are 2in thick boards on their own and now with them installed plus the 10in mattress it's a liability as my seven year old daughter can roll right off the top bunk and get seriously injured. I spoke to Ashley Customer Service and they said all sales are final and would not work me with me return these two bunkie boards and get 8in mattresses, which is what Sha should have recommended in the first place since again the bunk bed was not on display in the show room so I had to trust his knowledge as the "sales expert." Well, this really back fired and now I am stuck with these $100+ each bunkie boards and Ashley is being completely inflexible. I also asked to potentially upgrade to a more expensive leather sectional and the Customer Service team and in-store team refused to help me. This is terrible customer service! They could have been understanding of my particular situation and circumstance especially since Sha made these recommendations and I wrote such an initial positive review. However, the whole Ashley team chooses to lose a client who was going to buy more furniture in the future and recommend to my network. I no longer recommend Ashley furniture and anyone looking to buy from this team beware as are disingenuous and misleading. Plus, you won't have any flexibility after the sale. I am a very unhappy customer. Please do not shop there.

Sales person was very nice and friendly. But all services (delivery and customer service) I received after buying the whole set of dining table was literally 0 star to give. Delivery people made a little mistake (left stain and scratches on the furniture) which is still understandable. Everyone make mistakes and it happens. After they left, I saw one of the screws wasn’t screwed tight which I had to call them back to come back and re-screw/tighten them. And they said it’s already tight enough which you can clearly see it isn’t (they still couldn’t fix it) One of the dining chairs were defected. So they transferred me to the customer service team to schedule with the cleaning technician. And I scheduled an appointment on Saturday and they told me to give them a call back to ‘confirm again’ and that the appointment was set up. Then I called, they said that appointment is now gone. What’s going on Ashley?I didn’t like any of the services which I do not recommend to my family and friends. Ashley furniture saved one star because of the sales rep

The service here is horrible. I purchased a love seat and sofa recliners and added the piece to be able to also make it a sectional. When I purchased them a manager told me I could do a price match guarantee if I find them cheaper in another store. So I found a furniture store that sells Ashley products and let me tell you, at Ashley's they hike the price over 200%. I went to the store and the manager had to call me back. They said that since the furniture was delivered they can no longer price match when the manager that day told me I had 30 days from purchase. This is the worst place to buy furniture. I only went because of the 60mo. Finance deal. If I had all the cash I'd support small businesses instead of buying at Ashley. They scam you and over charge. Check out West Coast Furniture in the city of Paramount instead. Tell them I sent you. You won't regret it

To begin with the sales person was very nice and knowledgeable, it was from delivery where it went downhill. We purchased queen/king bed frames and king temperpedic in store. When they delivered they brought the wrong king bed frame head board. My husband kindly asked to have it corrected but the gentlemen that delivered it were communicating to their boss which was a lady over the phone and she didn't want to help us out although they made the mistake in bringing the wrong item. She wanted to only take the headboard but yet the bed would be unstable, even the delivery drivers told their boss that, then she proceeded to tell them to leave the bed on the floor (mind you it's a 6k bed plus I'm 8.5 months pregnant, how am I supposed to sleep on the floor? ) so then she decided to take the entire frame. At that point we were still trying to get it fixed but this lady over the phone made it that much more difficult to do a simple exchange so we decided for them to take it all back , that's when the real headache started. I called customer care which the store suggested I do that, they couldn't help then they redirected me back to the store again everyone kept passing me on to the next person I spoke to Christian and Maria from customer care. In store I spoke latrice and Johnny who is the store manager which has the worst communication ever ! I had to go personally in store in order to get an answer of what was being done. I was told their return policy which is final sale on in store purchases which makes no sense cause online return policy is very generous! But yet their excuse is that they're different from online but yet they're the same name, same company, same furniture! The reasons I was given were BS. The store manager Johnny needs training on how to deal with customers in a timely and professional manner. Ontop of that I wasn't given a receipt or any type of paperwork that serves as proof of purchase so how am I supposed to be aware of the final sale in store purchase otherwise I would've re-considered my purchase. At this point I will never ever buy from Ashley's ever again! I will go back to Jerome's furniture instead at least they were transparent from the beginning.

Doing so, the one only Mr. Family man Zee, was very welcoming from the moment we came in and was so helpful in explaining every detail that comes within purchasing a bed. Doing so we looked at all options and we saw one that we liked the most, thankfully Mr. Zee was able to work his magic and provide us with a great deal we could not ignore. We ended up leaving the store with purchasing a bed, with frame, and new pillows. We are so happy with his customer service and understanding our budget/ needs.

I worked with the "Trusted Advisor" Desiree who worked with me to buy a couch. We picked out a couch, went through the purchase, and set a specific delivery date. This delivery date was specifically set on a Saturday due to me being out of town Monday-Friday weekly. I get a call on Thursday saying that the movers are outside my unit and are wondering where I am. I talk with customer service at Ashley HQ and turns out Desiree never set the proper delivery date. Due to it being Thursday, all the delivery times on saturday (when it was supposed to be delivered) were taken. Due to this, I had to wait an additional week, book tickets to come back into town (100$) for the delivery date on the following saturday. I reached out to Desiree who told me she would have Johnny (the apparent "manager") reach out to me. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard back from Desiree, or Johnny. The customer service at this store is RIDICULOUS. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Customer service at the time of purchase was good everything else worse experience Delivery personnel worst ever experienced they would not deliver upstairs said it would not fit on the stairs after I removed the item from the box they took the box upstairs after they said that the box would not fit then they took a video just to prove that supposably they took the item upstairs which they never did after the fact just to find out they said it was too heavy and I called the store to complain and it has been over 2 Weeks have not heard anything back from the store overall not

A great place for furniture. Walked in here desperate as our furniture literally fell apart after 7 years. Was afraid of a senior injury which we didn't need. Simon helped us out here. Very knowledgeable and helpful too. We selected the leather loveseat recliners with cup holders and snack compartment. Color a nice shade of gray. So comfortable as you have many settings for comfort level. Also purchased a single leather grey recliner. A dining table with 4 chairs. The fabric on the chairs is linen and very comfortable to support your back. The table is wood and nice. Also chose a tv stand with electric fireplace for cold winter nights. It has drawers included and shelves too. A nice shade of a light brown. All in all a very good experience. We love our furniture! And a big thanks to Simon and the delivery team as well.

Just wanted to say that I went to Ashley in Torrance yesterday and had the most amazing experience! Walking in I was pretty nervous not knowing if I was ready to make a big purchase, but I was immediately greeted by Debby. Her energy was very sweet and welcoming which made me get comfortable asking questions (which I had alot of). There were many diff selections to choose from and configurations of sectionals that it took me over an hour to come to a decision but Debby was very patient with me. The manager, Melyssa, also helped Debby and I through the process by working with me and making sure I got what I wanted and also what would fit my budget. They were both very communicative and informative! Safe to say I am very pleased that the process was very smooth and easy going and will definitely be going back to Ashley for more furniture! I’ve purchased most of our furniture from Ashley’s over the last 7 years. Beds, tables, couches and buffet. We’re satisfied with the quality. Just recently we purchased our living room tables set and a tv stand. Rami was very helpful. Shiek helped us with information on the adjustable beds. He was extremely knowledgeable, he understood that we weren’t there for that but will be in the market soon. He still shared a wealth of information. Didn’t make us feel like we were a waste a time. I appreciate that. When we get ready to buy our bed for the master bedroom we will definitely come and buy it from him and this Ashley’s location. Thank you.

We had a no pressure purchase at this furniture store location. Happened upon a President's Day sale - had seen mention of it on social media with an in-store candle making craft session - when we were nearby at Home Depot. Stopped in and the prices were too good to walk away from. Kids had fun with the candle making. And we adults had peace of mind crossing off a long aging to-do item of getting new couch and sofa. Win-win all aroundDelivery guys were decent. We rescheduled when we realized another day was better for our schedule - they were easy to contact for reschedule. On the day of delivery, they texted that they were going to be a little outside the planned window. When they arrived, one strong guy single-handedly took the couch and then sofa off the truck on his head. Amazing. He and a coworker then attached the couch legs with the fastest drill gun work I've seen. Felt like I was watching formula one pit stop work. They took away all the packaging and arranged the couches as I specified. I inspected the furniture and gave them a thumbs up. Done in less than 10 min. Worth the $99 delivery and set up price tag. The tenured in-store rep advised I do this $99 white glove delivery vs the $59 delivery without set up as a preventative measure. I get to inspect the furniture and have the delivery men take something back if not up to par. If anything was wrong with the $59 delivery only, I would be on the hook myself to take the furniture back to the store. I don't have a truck to haul back furniture that may have damage. Made sense to me. I appreciated his advice. And hubby could not have assembled the couch feet in mere minutes. Worth it The newly unpacked couch and sofa let off some chemically smells. We left the windows open for a few hours to have them air out. Smells subsided quickly. I am now watching to see how the furniture ages. Will report back if problematic
I didn’t have a good experience. The dining table my wife wanted to buy was not in stock as per online store. Saleslady just wants to get rid of us asap. We knew what price we should be paying for it . She even mocked us in front of people because we didn’t want to pay the assembly fee. It’s just a table not including any chairs. She didn’t even give us the next available delivery day but the next one after. We only opted for the front door delivery which she kept on reiterating, she said there’s no time frame for the delivery since we only got the front door delivery. I was treated better at the store next door with them knowing I was just there to look without any intentions of buying.

Ashley’s Store in Torrance has always been our go-to for furniture and fixtures. We recently bought a beautiful bed frame but unfortunately we had to request a refund due to an unrepairable circumstance. The manager Ali understood our dilemma and granted a refund full. We saw some rugs that we were interested in buying and Ali offered us huge discounts for our troubles that we just could not refuse. We will continue bringing our business to this store. Customer satisfaction is everything!

Wasn’t informed that the credit inquiry would drop my score significantly. Unless it’s the salesperson very first time taking a customer through this process, there is no excuse for not informing the customer of that risk. At least give the customer the opportunity to explore other options to lease instead of being so eager to sell with no regard to the customers risk. And for the life of me I don’t understand how my co-applicant with an 878 credit score can still be denied. Highly questionable about that! Now I’m responsible for fixing a mess that I didn’t make. I have to be the one to rebuild my credit. I don’t need an apology that I know is meaningless; being told sorry isn’t going to fix my credit, saying I understand isn’t going to fix my credit either, especially when who is replying doesn’t mean it anyway! And to top it off, they show up to deliver my order with a damaged item, I guess they don’t inspect the items either before they ship them. Because of this I had to be the one to adjust my extra busy schedule so that the item could be rescheduled for delivery. This was a major and not to mention costly inconvenience for me that obviously didn’t matter because everything was paid in full. Besides that, a rep from the call center mentioned that they would contact the store about compensating me for this and needless to say the store didn’t mention anything about that. This was an absolute disastrous experience in so many ways and I can’t say if I’ll ever purchase anything from Ashley’s ever again!
Visited Ashley furniture seeking a kitchen table. Was warmly greeted by Will. Cheerful, positive and kind-he offered to walk us around the store to view options. He shared product knowledge, pricing and delivery availability of stock. An amazing attribute to this store. I highly recommend engaging with Will for questions, help and assistance.
I had a really bad experience with this location my tv stand was delivered damaged and I reached out to them and didn’t want to help in any type of way for 4 weeks I kept on coming back to them and still didn’t get nowhere with them so I decided to hire someone to repair my tv stand cause I never wanted to deal with them

I bought a rocker/recliner. I was offered the extended warranty. So I purchased that as well. The chair lasted 1year before falling apart. I was directed to use the warranty. I filed a claim in September.They sent a tech to my in November. The tech did what they sent him to do. His recommendation was to replace the chair. That where they got me. The warranty dept is separate from Ashley. They will not communicate it's now January still no response. They blame each other. While I was told not to discard of the chair. They now say since I moved the warranty is void. I will never recommend Ashley to anyone. In fact I will tell this to everyone I know that wants new furniture. They are a joke and sell junk !

Ashley Furniture scams their customers. I purchased a console table and it came damaged and also with a manufacturer defect. We had them deliver a replacement but the replacement was also damaged. We did that a third time as well, but the same thing happened. I finally asked for a refund, but they said “no returns”. They would only offer an exchange. They refuse to acknowledge that if they can’t deliver me what I originally purchased, that they owe me a refund. They somehow think I’m bound to their “no return” policy even though I never received a non-defective version of what I purchased. They defended this policy and think they’ve done nothing wrong. It’s like talking to a brick wall. Do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture.
I returned within 30 day period but still waiting on my refund , been 3 months. Store already charged the credit card before delivery.
I ordered a rug on 11/18/2023 estimated date 11/22 and spoke customer service and it was still delayed and called and spoke to someone in the store and still delayed, I went to the store to day , no one greeted me the first associate was playing his video game. And the young lady looked as if she was not having a bad and I still didn't say anything and was patient as she hand my tracking number of my order for me to call or track it from FedEx and I ask for the manger whom advised there was nothing he could do or refund my money back and to call corporate and let them handle it. I needed my rug by Christmas because I have family coming and this was the worst service ever, I couldn't believe how I received the customer service and will never buy or suggest buying from Ashley store again.

I thought my instore experience went well. However, upon delivery I received incorrect items. I have a Cali King bed and received youth dresser/chest, which were not in the showroom. After filing multiple claims and days of following up, the only way to get the items I agreed to purchase was to pay more. I also, received a damaged headboard. This experience has been a horrible, inconvenient one. The store does not have a reasonable return policy, even if the mistake is one made by their sales representatives. Additionally, I have to deal with multiple deliveries and repair (not a replacement) to an expensive item. I am extremely disappointed and would return my items if I could.
Ashley was so so but William was really great. He fumbled and bumbled and we still had fun and got a great rug! We’ll be back!

Went 2 more days without a bed to sleep in. Warehouse dispatch made it very difficult to work with me for my delivery window even though original order error was on the store. Again better judgement went back to try to buy a $300 ottoman and was told I could not use my Ashley credit line of $4000 to add/finance a $300 item. Never heard of this before. Walked out and will never buy from Ashley again. Still have more furnishing left to do but refuse to go to Ashley.

Not a happy camper. I was promised delivery of my furniture, I spent the day waiting for it, no notice or notification sent. And when I called to find out, and hour and a half before closing, the automatic system told me the store was closed, and that my purchase was no scheduled for delivery. 👎🏻

This is the worse place to purchase furniture. The customer service is terrible. The communication is subpar. They use a company off-shore to handle customer complaints. I returned an item in which I paid cash for and have been waiting for a return check for over 3 months. Every department pushes the responsibility to another department with no resolution. Please do not purchase from this store. They DO NOT value their customers. I wish I didn't have to give a star at all.
My partner and I met Debbie 6 months ago when we began searching for a couch. It took us that long to solidify a couch. When we came back, all of our top selections were discontinued! Debbie searched their inventory for a similar couch in the same dimensions, color, and price range and found a gem for us. She’s lovely to work with and we will definitely come back to work with her when we are ready to purchase our dining room set.

I went there yesterday to purchase a tv stand with fireplace, which was on sale. I did the purchase and was told it will be delivered October 3rd. After 3-4hours, the sales guy called me and told me I had to add $450.00 or cancel my order because they did a mid on their end. They should honor their prices when they decide to put them on sale. That's my last time going there

Update. They agreed to pick up the item and refund us. However that was 2.5 weeks ago. We were told the refund would be processed within 7-10 business days. It has been more than 12 business days and no refund. They took the item and also didn’t give us our money. Again, like before, we have to chase the store manager down to get the money back and she, being as unprofessional as she is, is now ignoring our calls and not responding. This has been going on since July and at this point we should be getting interest on our refund amount. This entire store is just fraudulent people and fraudulent practices. AVOID if you want to not get a headache for 4 months. The most unprofessional, pushy, and money hungry salesman you will ever find in this country. They followed us the second we entered the store, and chased us around constantly trying to get us to to buy something. Ameer, one of the salesman definitely needs some etiquette classes. He constantly called me and told me how he could get the furniture to me quickly blah blah. He called 5-8 times a day when he was trying to make a sale, even after I told him I was busy at work. Fast forward, we purchase two pieces of furniture. The sofa has the wrong arm chaise, wrong color, and is so poor in quality that it looks like it was purchased from dollar store. We call within the 72 hours and they do not pick up our calls, and constantly tell us that the manager will call us back. The manager is the most ghetto sounding person I have encountered in my life. She does not know how to speak to people, and speaks beyond disrespectful and rude. She flat out told me it is my fault that they sent the wrong item and will not be taking it back or make any effort to replace it. So be warned. Once they make a sale, and deliver the wrong item due to their own fault, they will take zero action to remedy the situation. Avoid at all costs.

Update 11/07/23 - Although my experience started off rocky, Ashley came out and replaced my damaged sofa. They replaced it completely. I am happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this couch. The only thing I would add, is for Ashley to add more stuffing inside the pillows. Once it starts to wear, the filling deflates the body of the pillows. Other than that, they delivered on their promise. ****Since my other review was deleted by the company I will update it here. I've had my regent sectional now for a week. I noticed two damages on it (I posted pics in a previous post that was deleted). The fabric is ripped on one side of my couch, and the leg is scratched and damaged on another side. I am hoping that Ashley can come out and fix this immediately because I spent too much money. I love the couch otherwise, but they need to fix this ASAP. _____________________________________________________________ Yvonne was amazing! My experience today at Ashley's in Hawthorne California. Came in to purchase a love seat which I found and a good price. That was everything I was looking for the sale staff took me into the bed department and we worked a deal out that I could not refuse, so if anybody is looking to purchase any furniture in the South Bay or Los Angeles area, stop in it, Ashley's in Hawthorne, they will work with you and they're very nice in every way. Michael and Cammy manager, please see them. If you are coming to the store, they will work with you 100%.
I received the worst customer service ever by Ashley. I am given the runaround about their warranty's my sofa is less than a year old and it is already peeling . I even purchased their warranty plan just for them to tell me they can't do anything about it . I first contacted them and they sent a technician to just look at it and say "yeah it's peeling "and they told to call The insurance and they told me to contact Ashley since they said it is still under a year old (they don't cover anything !!!!!) and that the sofa wouldn't be peeling and should be covered under the manufacture warranty. But when I called Ashley again they told me we can send a technician again just for them to tell me the exact same thing . This has been the worst experience I have ever been through . Save your time and money because these guys won't help .

Yet again another horrible experience here. I had $300 in gift cards that were given to me for my last horrible experience and when I came to use them to buy more furniture they asked me to provide a receipt because my purchase of thousands of dollars i made a couple years ago was not in their system. Sorry I don't keep my receipts that long, especially not in my purse. I tried looking for it and in the meantime the manager Martha kept my gift cards so that I can call in my order when I found it. I came to pick up the gift cards to use them elsewhere that was willing to take them and she got rid of them! Why in the f* would you get rid of someone's gift cards that wanted to purchase something! I cannot believe this buffoonery coming from this Ashely's. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN! CLOSE THIS HORRIBLE PLACE DOMN! Fire the terrible managers.

I recently visited this store looking for furniture for an upcoming move. I was greeted and helped by Louise and she was AMAZING. Her customer service was great, she was very friendly and personable, and showed me and my wife some great options for our future home and a he was the only associate that even greeted or acknowledged us. Our experience was very nice up until the manager Alex approached us, our conversation was short but what stuck out the most was that he was very condescending to Louise and also referred to her as “Lauren” upon leaving. Seeing as she was the only Black woman working while we were there I couldn’t help but feel like him referring to her as another name was not only rude but gave the impression of a hostile work environment. This ultimately ruined our experience and led to us leaving the store without purchasing anything. If you are a Black woman or woman of color I strongly advise not going to this store unless you happen to work with Louise.
Bought a $1159 sectional sofa online plus a one year protection plan last November. Found a ripped/wear-out corner on the day of delivery so I called them for repair. They said they would send a repair kit first and send a technician coming after we receive the kit. Now is May 2023, we got nothing. No kit, no technician coming. We called every month to check the status but nothing was changed. It took half a year to repair a whole new set of sectional. Not cool. ****Updates: They finally sent a technician 6 months later and he found another crack of wooden panel when he uncovered the fabric. Ridiculously, customer service said because I found out the crack 3 months after delivery, it will be considered “damaged by self-use” and not responsible by Ashley. 1. No one would know there was a crack of wooden panel unless someone uncovers the fabric on the back. 2. If you send someone right after I filed a claim for repair, it wouldn’t be past 3 months.( or 6 months) BUY PROTECTION PLAN everyone if you are still buying from Ashley!!!!!!! Or just don’t.

I didnt have the option to select 0 stars. The customer service at the Torrance location was horrible. I placed an order on a Wed around noon, to be delivered by Friday. I never received my order. Then they scheduled me for next day (Saturday) well "the truck broke down" they say. They had then tried to schedule me for a partial order which was a no go for me. I asked for a refund twice. They continued to try to push the order. Every time I called to speak to a manager, the receptionist would put the sales associate on the phone. I do not want to do service with this particular location or group of people. I just want a full refund. Yvonne Bruce was my sales assistant and Alex is the manager. Today is Monday 04/24/23. They haven't called or emailed.

I did my purchase at the Torrance location on 1/28/23 and bought my bedroom set of my dreams and right when I walked in Mrs. Beatriz was extremely helpful as well as the manager. She helped me through the whole process. Delivery , scheduling my delivery and a minor hip cut that occurred but it was all taken care of. Thank you Ashley furniture and the team for helping me with my furniture. I can’t wait for it to get delivered.
My boyfriend and I purchased a two couches as a set in April 2021. Joanna was our sales person and she was great when showing us around and was overall really helpful.The only complaint from us is when it came to the initial delivery date, our couches weren't delivered on the date we were initially promised. My boyfriend was the one who was going to be notified via phone call and when the drivers called (initially), it came from a phone number that was NOT based in the US. When he answered, the other line was completely silent and just hung up immediately.When Joanna called to ask us how our couches were a little later that day, we explained to her what happened (the above situation) and she was just as annoyed as us. Therefore, we know this was not an error on her part. She helped us coordinate a new delivery date. The new delivery date came and the drivers ended up arriving as scheduled (if not earlier) but when they called, the number was completely random again.Aside from that, this place has a decent selection of furniture and the price reflects that. However, I cannot speak for the protection plan that we also purchased where she mentioned it covered all stains, accidents, etc. but fortunately, we haven't needed to use it.
Very pleased with the customer service I received by staff and manager. Prices and quality very reasonable and they will work with you. I had been searching for a sofa for several months and was becoming discouraged with the high prices and poor customer service out there. I went on the Ashley furniture website, saw some thing I was interested in and went in the next day. 35 minutes later I was leaving as a satisfied customer. Two things they did that really set them apart from the competition was, they match the Internet price and gave me an additional 10% off when I purchased the five year warranty. FYI, the 10% additional discount covered the warranty and put additional money in my pocket. I just wished that I had paid them a visit much earlier.

Will never shop at Ashley Home again. I purchased an end table that was on clearance for $99. You would have thought I was buying a house by the amount of time it took and all the papers I had to sign.
Felt A little bit segregated. Staff was alright, and I was asked several times if I had been here before. Purchased a set and was told it was made in the USA, once delivered the boxes said made in Vietnam. Overall, I'm not very pleased. I may consider purchasing somewhere else in the future.

I haven't yet received my chairs yet and am thoroughly disappointed in the buying process. Once the decision was made as to what we wanted to buy, I was asked to sign a few documents that were not fully explained to me even though I asked. They had me confirm my email and mailing address, which I did. Then I was sent to the front counter where I was asked to sign more items, also unexplained. They printed out my receipt and had my name wrong! They hadn't asked me to verify that. I asked them to correct it and email it to me which they agreed to do. They had also asked me when I wanted them delivered. I asked if I needed to be there, they said no. So I chose Sunday. I get home and check my emails several hours later, still no corrected invoice in the email. I had to email them to get a corrected one. The next day (Sat) I get a call confirming that they will deliver Sunday, I asked again if we needed to be there. This person said yes, hence we had to reschedule delivery for another day. Ordering two basic chairs should not have to be such a hassle!
The person first helping did not know much. The manager stepped in to help. We purchased the highest amount to get the VIP delivery included. The deliveries have been a disaster. First delivery came with a little damage. They said they reported it and never did. I had to call back. The second in boxes and they tried to leave it in my porch. We called and there was a mistake so we were told to refuse it and call the next day to reschedule. I called and was told it would deliver on Friday. Friday came and nothing. Called back and it was not scheduled. We can not get our things for a month and a half. So I told them To cancel everything and they said I had to keep the couches. We purchased a living room to match. They said too bad and we can not return the couches. This store and company has the worst attitude and customer service I have ever experienced. Do not waste your hard earned money here.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. We bought furniture for about 7k and when they delivered everything the TV stand was missing parts and was scratched and the table glass was also all scratched up. I called corporate over 5 times and went back to the store a bunch of times as well. They keep promising to come and replace the furniture, they set up a delivery appointment and just don't show up. They have done this 3 times already over the course of the year and I have been waiting for a year for the right furniture to get delivered. Absolutely terrible service!! Buyer beware and I definitely won't be coming back here again!!
Never again buying furniture here never I bought a dining room set and when I got it the wood pieces from the chair we’re pulling off I called they came they fix it I’m having the same problems I call and now they are telling me that it’s not cover when I bought a five year insurance I went to Ashley‘s on Saturday to let them know worst customer service is the one in Torrance worst customer service and it seems like they don’t even wanna help you to fire a claim or anything just worse attitude never again buying furniture at Ashley‘s go to BOB’s furniture best customer service employees their so nice and they’re willing to help you in anything so friendly

We purchased a bed frame and had it installed by Ashley's furniture. The supporting wooden slats broke and we filed a claim. If you buy furniture here with "furniture protection" it's very hard to actually get something fixed or replaced. They make it really hard to complete the process while the salesperson will tell you it's the best. Also, if you read the contract, once you move to a different address they won't honor it.
Carroll and ken assisted me in buying a sectional that ended up being perfect for our space. They were super helpful at providing a great deal and made the process super easy. They delivered two days after I bought at the store

I will go straight to the point here. My mom came to look at some Furniture at the end of December 2021 and she got brightly hooked into doing a purchase due to a "promotional offer" of a dining set, bedroom dresser and a chest. At the time, they promised furniture would be delivered in 45 days. Well that furniture did not come until 60 days later and every piece was damaged or missing parts. After that everything else became a horrible experience, we stopped by this store and we spoke with sales manager, customer service manager and even the store manager. They over promised and under delivered every time. We stopped at the store over 10 times and we got redirected to call customer service. We got so frustrated with the whole experience that we just decided to return everything and get our money back. Within a period of a month, the store manager resigned followed right after by the customer service manager. We escalated the issue with the escalation team through the customer service and we spoke to 3 different individuals which all gave us different stories. Most recently already in May 2022 (5 months after) I would usually go with her, but my mom decided to stop by herself to do a follow on her money. The new Store Manager by the name of Albert Rojas the audacity to call my mom "our store pet" followed by additional insults while she was sharing her bad experience with another customer. This is unacceptable! Who the hell does he thinks he is? Bottom line you have been warned with the kind of experience you will be facing with this business and the new leadership from this store. I really hope he gets fired soon!

AAMIR and his manager guaranteed me delivery for my mattress and bed on 5/19/22. Paid a very hefty price for it and I still have not received it. Only way I will return here is if I am compensated in some way. Customer service advised me I have a delivery date for a later time. Please provide honest information moving forward.

First off the people on the floor are so pushy and want to make sells fast! Customer service is lacking, but i understand it a bit since the world has been a bit hectic. I would avoid buying from here though (specific location). I have had a positive experience with Ashley Home Stores before so I assumed they would all be the same, but I was mistaken. Ordered a mattress and frame almost a month ago, the reason for the wait was because the bed frame was not in yet. We received notification of our delivery and bam, the only thing that was being delivered was the mattress. Gave them a call asking why only a partial delivery and they expressed that the headboard was on back order. They waited until day of delivery to let us know of any issues. Gave them a call, which is a total nightmare and no one was able to tell us when the frame would be delivered, not even a timeline. I don't like dealing with the back and forth with companies that are not transparent with issues so I decided to cancel everything but the mattress. Now, here we are a week later and finally heard from someone about a cancelation. If only it was as fast to return something as it is to order it. Extremely disappointing, ordered our frame from costco instead and it was here on Friday, like it said in my order. Avoid shopping here.
If you ever are in the market for temperputic mattress do not buy through Ashley’s they turn the other way when you have a problem and start pointing fingers back and forth. Buy directly from temperputic save time and headaches with Ashley’s specially the manager Albert no customer service at all or customer satisfaction with this guy.. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS… all of my future purchases will no longer be here.

Me and my husband bought a sectional at this store. The day it arrived, we were missing one of the end pieces of the couch. We called the store and filed a claim, we were told we would be able to get the missing piece within a couple weeks, after the claim was approved by corporate. Fast forward almost 2 months later, we still did not receive the missing piece and we’re now told we have to return the couch instead because “the order was written incorrectly by the store” and getting that missing piece is not an option. The communication at that store is totally disorganized. We were back and forth with them about this missing piece, some people telling us we were only approved to return the couch, the manager told us we would be able to get our missing piece, and finally at the end of all this we had to just return the couch. We had a delivery scheduled where we were told we would be receiving the missing piece, but when the delivery guys came, they said they were only there to pick up the couch as a return. On numerous occasions, the customer service team said they would be calling us as soon as our claim was updated, that “someone has to go through these claims daily and will call you,” but I was the one having to repeatedly follow up just to find out what was happening with the claim. Save the hassle and save your money from this place. We regret buying from this store.
Good experience overall!!! There was a small hitch with our tv stand. When customer service wasn't helpful, my husband and I went to the store and was able to get it fixed and then some directly with one of the managers. He made sure we left satisfied. It really puts a personal touch to this store. I let my family and friends know that if they go to Ashley's go to the one off 190th. Ask for Dylan, and he will take care of you like family. The girls behind the scenes were also amazing ((Melyssa and Kimberly)) I'm still waiting on my fireplace 🔥 but that's not on them...that's just this post covid world we live in now. 🥲
Worst customer experience! The store guy started following us for the entire store.. he was kept staring on us for all time we were in store. At the end, when we were about to exit, he again started keep bugging us telling we must to see some sections that we’ve missed. I told him “we are okay, but thank you”, then he just turned around and walked away without even saying “you’re welcome” or “good bye”. Worst sales guy I ever met. He ruined my experience with Ashley store. What an annoying place!
Had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture store. Our sales person Carroll was very helpful and kind. She helped us buy a bed and mattress for our daughter. She was very knowledgeable and honest when it came to mattresses. She never tried to sell us more than we needed and she took the time to listen to our questions and concerns. We never felt rushed. If you want a positive experience then I would recommend that you ask for Carroll when shopping for a mattress or furniture at Ashley's.
ZERO STARS!! Horrible Customer Service and nonchalant attitudes. I ordered a bed in the beginning of January and selected a specific date for delivery and the date was changed & pushed back 2-3 weeks without my notice. They tell you to wait for a call a day before but nobody calls. Now I'm left without a bed and sleeping on the floor for over a month of waiting. The manager then offered me a bed that's displayed for my inconvenience!! How unsanitary is that!!! The workers there are very nonchalant and basically just tell you "well there's nothing we do" and just laugh in your face or behind your back gossiping on why I'm complaining! Go to a different Ashley furniture store do not shop at Hawthorne.
This was the best experience I ever had shopping they helped me out and even discounted stuff because they knew I was refurbishing my home! The sales service manager was very detailed and helped me out in every way and the guy who helped me Dylan was awesome and he stayed there to help until I was finished he knew and was very informative about all the products and what would look good! Very satisfied
Save yourself the trouble and skip Ashley Furniture. First off, the sales people are like vultures. There's at least 3 following you and standing over you the whole time, never allowing you space to think/talk to your partner without them interjecting. We did end up buying a console table which we were told was in stock and we'd receive it in 2 weeks. That was October and we heard nothing for weeks. We called and got no one helpful so we finally went in the first week of January. They told us it was scheduled to be delivered January 16th, and that we'd receive a call the day before to confirm and a text the day of. Neither of those happened so we went back in and no one could find even a tracking number! A store manager must have been told we were unhappy because they called us back the next day and magically had a tracking number. Finally, Jan 21 our piece was delivered. We open the box to put it together and there is just so much damage to the wood that it's worse than a floor model. Not only will I never recommend Ashley furniture, I will actively try to discourage anyone from ever going there.
My time at Ashley furniture store in Torrance turned out to be a blessing. Upon entering the store, I was greeted immediately and informed of a 50% off sale that would last for three days. I was also told how the sale worked, and the signs to look for. I was just there to browse, so originally I thought this meant nothing to me. As I was looking, the same person came to check on us and to make sure we understood what each thing meant. Her coming over to help, turned into me finding a sleeper sofa for an amazing price that happened to be on clearance. Not only was I able to purchase that sleeper but a matching love seat as well. Thank you for all your help!

I was helped by Aamir Kursiwala in selecting a sleep sofa. It took me quite a while to two pick between two great deals. I must commend Aamir for his patience as I walked the store sending pictures and talking to my daughter for help in making a decision. I really appreciated that he did not rush me, but instead continued to advise me regarding the different materials and benefits of either sofa. He even spoke to his manager to get me an additional discount regardless of which sofa I chose. To me, he is not just a salesperson but a friend that I trust to help me make shopping decisions without the ulterior motive of profit or income potential. He will be my "go to" person whenever I shop or have a question regarding furniture.

When I purchased at the store a lady her name was Jaina Beltran put wrong address in my account and she didn’t set my delivery date. After one month wait they didn’t deliver my order and they said you can choose something else we don’t have your select furniture anymore until two months later. Very poor service. Very bad experience.
They’re great salespeople but why have items on the floor that won’t be in stock without a expected date? It’s already hard enough to wait weeks for the delivery but not have a date? Please take those inventory off the floor so people won’t get their hopes up.

I had a very bad experience on this store. I purchase my bedding and foundation at this store. When it was delivered we saw that the foundation was not the perfect match for the bedding as the bedding is too high. I called the salesperson who help me and ask if we could exchange the foundation or bed whichever will work , he talked to his Manager, and told me they cant do it, All Sales Final. I didn't know that this will be the case because the salesperson didnt say anything when we were choosing the foundation and the bed. I expected him to advise if it wasn't the correct combination but I guess his goal is to just to sell. I was directed to call Corporate Customer service to see if they can do something. The customer i spoke to said the issue was escalated to a higher team. Waited for weeks to hear from them, and decided to call again , finally they said file is closed. I have very good experience with the Long Beach store but they didn't have many displays of the bedding and foundation. That s why I went to this location because it is really big and have big selection.

We bought couches knowing they were on back order and we intentionally pushed the delivery date to give them time. Then i received a phone call the day before our delivery stating that the item was still on back order and they promised another delivery date. Shortly after that i received another call saying they will not be delivering the item until a week later. Cant wait until a day before that date to get pushed back again.

Aug132021 - It's really a very BAD experience buying from this store. It was my first time and that will be the last one. SalesladyG didn’t tell me that there is an assembly required on the foundation. Store managerPC said that it should have been set up or assembled by the delivery guys, but they didn't. Packaging is the worst (pictures) I have seen of all any kind of deliveries in my life. I didn't even think of opening it because I didn't like when assembly is needed. When I tried to return it at the store, the store managerPC said that "we don't accept returns in store due to Covid (what???), so it has to be returned to our warehouse." I replied him, "Ok, I have no problem with that, but I'm going to charge you return delivery expenses on my time, gas, & mileage." Only then that he agreed & accepted to take it into the store & issued me a note that refund was processed by email & will take 48 hours (picture business card in the receipt). It didn't happen!!! I was contacted via email on 8/19/2021 & given a case#0404xxxx. I contacted that phone# in the email more than 2X but they couldn't do the refund. So, the last time, I was told to go to the store & that the store should process my refund. I went to the store on 9/16/2021, more than a month then from the day I bought it. Met another Store Manager (forgot to get his name). He said that he can't do anything & wants me to come back on Saturday- d 18th when PC will be back. I told him that - "let's assume that store managerPC resigned or was terminated, so what's going to happen? If you can't do anything now, that means I won't get any refund at all???" I asked him to give me a note about his action/decision but he won't give me any. This store deserves ZERO STAR REVIEW, if there is lesser than zero, this is it!!! By giving bad reviews when customers' experience is bad. ADDITIONALLY, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the mattress (M69611). It is too soft, almost sagging.

we ordered a set of sofa in Mar 2021, today is 09/17/2021, there has been no delivery, no follow-ups. We tried several times to get status on the order, each time we were given a different date. Now website live agent says it's been delivered. She plays dead when I ask for proof of delivery. this is a joke.

We've already had a bad year of losing my father, and Ashely HomeStore ruined what was supposed to be something nice for my mom. I gave my mom money to buy the sectional that she had wanted for years now. My mom found a nice sectional here, and bought it. She was elated about how nice the sectional was going to be in her house. Everytime we talked, for about 2 months now, she always brought up the sectional, and how nice it was going to be. Fast-forward to now, Ashleys Homestore called her and told her about a week ago to tell her the sectional was arriving Monday. Come Sunday as my mom was preparing the house she called to verify, she called and they told her it wouldn't be available until March 2022 (Its currently August of 2021). Why would they call her and tell her its ready, then turn around and tell her that she wouldn't receive it until next year?! Did someone come in and pay more money for her order? Did they sell the sectional to someone else? Horrible communication from this business, and they do not stick to their word.
Friendly staff who are not too pushy, lots of beautiful furniture, but be prepared to wait 4 to 8 weeks for that furniture to become available. After moving we have started to look for new furniture to replace the things that we donated before the move. My wife fell in love with a bar table that had four chairs. The price was extremely reasonable for the entire set. When the salesperson came over to help us, we left very deflated because my wife does not want to wait 2 months to fill this void in the corner of the kitchen. It's like a little piece of her heart is also empty...

I needed to buy some furniture for my apt. They have a wide selection of quality items. Aamir was outstanding to work with. Very helpful and courteous and willing to work with me. Not only that, he is a funny and genuine guy. Good experience overall. I now await delivery and hoping that runs as smoothly.
The worst customer service ever! I spoke with customer services people about my delivery and they guarantee a time, the next day there was a different story they were at my home at noon, when I wasn’t there. So I contact customer service again and the ladies were very nasty towards my fiancé and I. They did nothing for me nor the managers from this store or anyone. They also sold my couch because they lied about delivery time. The couch was already paid for, so because of Ashley’s negligence i have to find a new couch, and I have to wait for the money to get back on my card. And the black lady that wanted to assist me today, is a waste of time she ran her mouth for a good 15-20 mins to eventually tell me I have to wait for the couch because it’s on back order. The store Manger Peter did not try he offered me 10% off for the lack of communication and rudeness on Ashley’s behalf. The whole staff as a whole should be fired and the customer service people that answer the phones too. The only person that was graceful and knows how to treat customers was Melissa the one that helped me find the couch. Everyone else is trash!

Haven't been able to get help over my shipment. Called off from work and didn't get no delivery. Don't know when will get it because they haven't picked up the phone since they opened. I've called throughout the whole day and nobody can pick up the phone. Update: so after all this i went in to complain to the manager due to poor customer service with seller and delivery. Manager was no help, i dont know how any one got that job. Manager yawns and proceeds with telling us to call the company. Company wouldn't answer at all!
Melyssa and Peter were amazing. They were super patient in finding myself and my fiancé find a bed and couch for our new home. Highly recommend working with Melyssa as she was super down to earth and easy to talk to. She helped us find exactly what we wanted for a great price.
I went in Ashley's with very low expectations. I didn't think they would have the style of bed that I was interested in and I felt the prices would be expensive. Contrary to what I had in mind, Ashley's had the exact bed that I was looking for AND the color that I wanted. I was surprised to find the bed to be within the price range that I wanted to spend. The sales rep, Mario was wonderful! He actually was responsible for making my experience at Ashley's so great. I'm glad I stopped in!
My wife and I went to this Ashley home store location and had a great experience all due to our encounter with salesman Ishmael. He was extremely genuine and knowledgeable about the products available and we walked away not only choosing the best mattress we wanted but happy for the interaction we had with him. If you’re in the market for any mattress or furniture definitely go see “Ish”!

There were at least ten sales person sitting idle and sharing gossip no body want to help and when help came to me the inexperienced store manager too almost ten minutes to put his pass code and in-between my sales he was helping others so for a small sale of $200 it took almost an hour. Sorry I may not come back for a mattress which I need unless I am compensated for my time Thanks

This Furniture Store has the worst customer service I have ever seen. All of there furniture is damage upon delivery. Need to make many changes for items coming into the warehouse damaged in boxes. Furniture is very cheaply made and prices are high. Not good quality for the price. No immediate help for warranty products staff is incompetent. Try other furniture that will appreciate your business. Ashley Furniture do not value their customers.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The general manager Cami was useless. I usually dont like to write reviews but this place was absolutely the worst. I had gone in with a gift card that was given to me from a different store and she said it wasnt possible to use it at that Ashley's. She didnt even try to help us. Maybe because we weren't dressed all fancy but she literally paid us no mind. We had even asked her to call the Ashley's we had gotten the gift card from and she refused to help. You're better off going to Bob's furniture next door unless you want to get treated like garbage
We were so happy that Ashley Furniture was honoring our warranty on a sofa that broke. We went to our local store to pick out a new one. The ladies were all very pleasant, although super confused. We ended up purchasing a new sofa that cost more, so with a new extended warranty, and the extra cost, we ended up spending about $600 more. We got the delivery notice for 2 days later on a Saturday, but the text message showed we were getting 2 deliveries. One to my sons apartment (where the sofa was going) and, one to my house (where the original sofa had been delivered 4 years before) We figured maybe they were picking up the old sofa, since the service guy had told me not to get rid of it until we heard back about the warranty. Well, sure enough, they had furniture on the truck being delivered to us, and my son told them WE DID NOT BUY ANY FURNITURE OTHER THAN THE SOFA! They DID NOT come to my house to deliver said furniture, yet Ashley is calling both my husband and myself asking about the furniture. I spoke with someone from Ashley twice last week (she called me) and explained the situation. I told her maybe the truck drivers took it? Maybe took it back to the warehouse? All I know is I DONT HAVE IT!!! Now, I have to go back to the store and try to resolve it there? I really don't understand the customer service with this company. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!

I bought an ottoman in January was told it would ship in February, then in February they said March, then they said April 2, and now they're saying April 29, and they are basically saying it's not their fault that's just the way it is. You can never get a hold of the store, and customer service often just hangs up on you. Will never shop at Ashley ever again. Oh and to add to this they said that it will be delivered by UPS, but not brought into my place. I was not told this when I paid for it. What if I lived up a flight of stairs or I was older and couldn't lift it? This is furniture, and not a package from Amazon! Update: they offered me a gift certificate to buy something else at their store. They don't understand I won't buy anything from them ever again. What good is a gift certificate off of full price anyhow...everything is way overpriced so they can act like they offer you a discount.
It is very difficult to get a hold of someone at Ashley's to answer some questions. I left voicemails no call backs. I was scheduled for delivery on a Wednesday and that morning they called and said their truck broke down and won't be able to delivery to me on Wednesday, the guy wanted to deliver my furniture on Friday and I told him no I wanted it Thursday. The problem that I have is they sent me the link of the delivery truck before I got the phone call. So I tracked it throughout the day and I saw that the truck was still making deliveries just passing my stop. I tried calling a few numbers to try to figure out what's going on, no response and no call backs. Luckily the furniture was delivered first thing Thursday morning. Unfortunately the feeling that I got after purchasing my furniture on Sunday was that all they cared about was the commission. Before the purchase, they were nice and followed me around, once the purchase was done I did not get that warm feeling anymore.
Ashley delivered me all damaged furniture. $6500 worth of furniture I can’t use and they have run me in circles for a month now trying to get them to pick it up and refund me. This is a well named brand and I am shocked at the treatment I have received and still no answers for my pick-up/ Refund. Cammy the so called store manager told me her self when I asked her “don’t you have customer satisfaction “ she said No! Wow !!!! They have run me In circles over a bedroom set that is trash since day one and now they are telling Me they will exchange it but not refund it!!!! Because I’ve had it for a month !!!!! I went first thing in the morning after it was delivered at 9pm the night before and the store was closed ! When I told the delivery people my issue they told me I had to talk to the store they are a 3 rd party. They have not helped me for a month and I have been fighting with them that long. I have all damaged furniture and the bed moans when I put the head up !! I have paid $6500 for the bedroom set and now for a month sleeping on my sofa !!!!! Until the resolve this ! Monday April 5, 2021 I will go to Long Beach court house to files a small claims on the $6500 plus to compensate me for all the times I had to take off work and call and put up with All of this ! I went to this store on February 16th and I bought a sofa that should be delivered on March 8th. 3 days before the delivery day someone called me and told that the delivery changed to April 10th. I was upset but I decided to wait because I really liked the sofa. In March 25th they called me and told that the delivery changed again to MAY 22nd!! So after wait for more than 1 month I have to come back to the store to try to find another sofa that I liked but they don’t have ANYONE until April 10th and they can’t guarantee this day too. After this horrible experience I don’t recommend this store. Very bad for me. I found a sofa that will be delivered tomorrow in Bobs. (Btw I was advised that the Ashley was lying the wait time and I didn’t believed)
Customer service is really bad. The people are nice but they have no clue on how to track shipments. It took us over 30 minutes to purchase three items because the guy barely spoke English and he had to keep getting help from his manager.. We were told that two of the items had to be delivered and we couldn’t take with us. Well, I’m still waiting for the third item to be delivered after two weeks of waiting and they have no clue when I will receive it because they don’t use any type of tracking numbers. They refuse to give me a refund because they show the item as shipped. I won’t buy from here again.
I went with my wife and kids yesterday to look for a couch! I over heard 2 workers discussing my wife while I was filling out paper work! Gentleman! Please do not send your wife unattended! Worst company do not come here! I ordered an entire new bed frame with a mattress and pillows that was placed in October of 2020 and I was told it would arrive at my house in the month of December. It is now March 2021 and my order was pushed back about 5 times now. Almost half a year and still nothing so I just ended up canceling my entire order. Not only that this place never answers!!! Customer service is absolute garbage.

Third time it was delivered cracked. but the delivery boy said to keep it and they would send out another one. They are very rude, worst customer service. I bought 2 pillows from Ashley, they sent one of them and I never received the second one!!!!I called 3 times, stay on the line for 20 to 40 minutes just for a pillow and still I haven’t get it. Never back to this store, and never buy anything from Ashley again. Today is three weeks after my previous comments and no pillow yet. I tried to called Ashley, Torrance 6,7 times, but they are not even bother to either answer the phone or say they already shipped it. If someone wanted to bring it to my home by walk, I should have get it by now.

I placed an order in September 2020 for a love seat, sofa, and coffee table set for my mom. Since Labor Day weekend, they&'ve scheduled deliveries 3 times, and each time when the date comes... the items are unavailable. I paid for my items in full in September, and at no point during that transaction did they disclose any items were back ordered. It&'s been 3 months, and they&'re still giving me the run around. Do not waste your time, energy, or hard earned money doing business with this company. I&'ve spoken with Christian, Frederick, &"J&" (this individual didn&'t even have the decency to give me their first name), Estefany, etc none have resolved my issue. Buyer beware!
We had to call them to find out our loveseat was back ordered the first time...they didn&'t contact us to tell us. Been waiting FOUR months for it.....finally they call today to say it won&'t be delivered AGAIN when they said because it was back ordered a second time..... Now we wait till January. This is ridiculous....... It&'ll be 5 months before we even see our loveseat.... Will not be making any further purchases from ashley&'s furniture. And customer service was absolutely NO help. Thanks for nothing guys.
I am beyond frustrated with this company. After contacting them twice via phone last week and confirming my delivery by text, my order did not come. I contacted the warehouse to obtain a window for delivery time and was informed that my items were still at the warehouse and I would not be eligible for delivery until two weeks later. I have been on the phone for over three hours to no avail. To get a refund I have to return my 76-year-old father to the store during a deadly pandemic surge! Also, I had my old sofas removed and now I do not have any furniture nor a reasonable solution. Do not purchase from this store. Save your money and a headache!

The store is very cluttered and not very good sanitizing measurers are taken considering people are touching all the furniture. No one helped me or guided me on how to navigate the he store. It would be different if this was a discount furniture store and it was you but what you see type of thing. Very unprofessional atmosphere and the workers are profiling the customers to determine if they will help them. I will not do business with this company because the employees are not trained to help all customers.
We bought 2 sets imof furniture at Ashley, Torrsnce. We rated the store 1* becaus1. 1. The colors if the sofa couch were of different grey. 2. We called and stopped by the store 3 times. 3. Talked to 3 different customer service and 2 were store managers. Logged in request foir exchanges or replacement. 4. We were even given a case number in Nov 3, 2020. Bought the couches in Sept 1, 2020. Delivered Oct 24, 2020. 5. As of today, Nov 23, 2020, absolutely no responses from Ashley. Do not buy anything from Ashley Torrance. Bad custoner service!
I dont even know were to begin. First they lie about delivery time. Second, to get a hold of someone on the phone is almost non existant. If they dont answer after 15 mins you are force to either hang up or leave a voicemail. I am in the medical field working with covid19. We purchase our first house in middle of Oct. We went a week after to purchase pretty much everything a new home needs. Super exciting right?! Hard earned money and want to make sure your home is ready to go when you move in. Well most of our furniture was suppose to be delivered today 11/21. I took the day off to make sure someone was home to greet the delivery guys. Well before that, i did not get a text/call. They guy that helped us told us sometimes they dont do it but the day of in the morning. So i didnt worry and today i waited and waited. No one came!!!! I called before they close, waited about 45 mins to hve someone answered like if i woke them from a nap lol. Anyways she told me some of my stuff wont be delivered til end of dec. And other stuff maybe in january...maybe! I was mostly pissed no one called me to let me know about the new dates, that way I didnt called off and took care of someone&'s mother. She said to talk to someone i will have to go to the store...geez! I want a refund

The delivery service delivered our mattress without any packaging this should have been a huge red flag. Never had this issue before and ASHLEYS FURNITURE is doing nothing to help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a newborn baby and I am terrified that the bed bugs might have spread to his mattress. We have been sleeping on this bed for no more than 2 months!!!!!!!!! Me and my baby have been bitten up. I am so disappointed in this business, you are better off at IKEA or Living spaces. This dresser (well, the whole bedroom set) is complete garbage. The dresser drawer broke by me putting shirts in it. I can't even begin to say how big of a pain it was to get it all delivered. The running boards, dresser, mattress (which is the worst mattress I've ever had), head/foot board all came separately. Even after I paid for the "hassle-free" delivery. Not to mention, I received two nominations that it was being delivered and it never showed up. I had to take multiple days off to sit and wait for the deliveries and even with paying extra for them to take the packing material with them, they left it in my room. I tried calling "customer service" over 20 times to try and find out where the deliveries were and I was hung up on over a dozen times and transferred even more. Finally, I reached a CSR that "said" she'd email her boss and someone would get in contact with me...which never happened. This is the worst furniture company I've ever seen. To think that I decided not to go with IKEA because I wanted "nicer" stuff, that I would have for a while, this was a big mistake. On top of it all, when you order online they charge your card, when they ship it they charge your card again and then it takes 2-4 days for them to credit your card back for the first charge. I'm VERY glad I didn't go ahead and buy furniture for my whole house (like my wife told me to) because it's complete crap. Save your money and hassles and go to IKEA, at least with them...you know what you're going to get.

Today, I went to Ashley HomeStore THREE times. Yes, three times. Each time Adam helped my family & I with some of the best costumer service I have ever experienced. Adam was funny, smart and extremely helpful. I will continue to shop at this location for my home furniture needs. 10/10 would recommend buying from Adam.

They are the absolute worse. I went in and ordered a bedroom set on September 6th 2020. A dresser, nightstand, headboard and mattress. The delivery was scheduled for September 26th, the date we were moving into our new house. The delivery drivers show up with just the nightstand and dresser. Im asking them where everything else is, they didn&'t know. I call customer service and was told that the headboard and mattress are on back order. Those items were NOT ON BACKORDER WHEN THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR THEM. Nobody called us or emailed to let us know we would not be receiving the items as scheduled. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told by call center rep Elise that there weren&'t any supervisors available. I left a message for the store manager. I have yet to hear back from him. This is the 2nd time that I&'ve had an issue with this particular Ashley furniture store and I will never buy anything from them again. They got one star because I had to....
The 2 stars are for the sales person who helped me. She was nice and made an effort. However, none of the sales associates know anything about the product or layout of the store. I was looking for a particular mattress that was on sale. They initally could not locate it and then tried to take me to other, more expensive mattresses. My patience wore thin but they finally found it so I could test it out. Things were OK after that. However, the general demeanor of the staff is lackadaisical. None of them could give me direct answers on the shipping option I selected. Now, reading other reviews, I'm afraid my shipment will be lost in a black hole. I would stay away from this location. Although I was able to purchase the item I wanted, the entire experience was lackluster.

Oh, how I am changing this review! It's so bad that Google and Amazon probably won't even post it. Don't go there! You will be incredibly disappointed, and lied to. I was told October 30th for delivery, it kept getting moved up, I'm having major surgery on December 7th, and now they're telling me my furniture isn't coming until December 9th or after?! I have no furniture in my house and after surgery, what am I supposed to do? Lean against the wall at an angle and sleep that way for 6 weeks? They lie because they work on commission. Please please, take my advice, even call your friends and tell them, do not go to Ashley Home Furnishings. And just for the record, Jerome's is just as bad if not worse!! DO NOT GO THERE! FYI, the people below writing the reviews, actually WORK for Ashley. I've actually taken the time to check that out. So apparently they write phony reviews for themselves also. Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau now!
I can&'t stress this enough, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!It doesn&'t matter how good of a deal it might be financially. It will not be worth the continuous headaches you will have when trying to deal with this company trying to actually receive your furniture. My ordered was delayed three separate times. It took so long we had to cancel delivery and assembly, rent a truck and go pick it up. Then they told us an item was back ordered. They said it couldn&'t be delivered for another three months. So then we rented another truck for pick up and less than 24hrs prior to pickup they said it wouldn&'t arrive until next week. And shocker, we still haven&'t received or been able to pick up our order....Please I can&'t stress this enough, look elsewhere for your furniture, literally anywhere else!
If I could do zero stars I would!!!! Horrible service. My bedroom furniture was brought piece by piece. Something always missing. Brand new night stand is already peeling after one week. Trying to call there is hopeless!!! I had to file a claim with warranty people. Floors are all scratched! Bed is so high I now have to use a stool to get into bed. Bad service. Stay away!!!!! So disappointed.
Took about 2 months to get our bedroom set. When it finally arrived it had defective pieces and we're still waiting on one to be returned . Communication skills we're horrible
I ordered a sofa sleeper July 13, 2020. It was on backorder and I would not receive it until August 22nd. I received a text message to confirm the delivery date for 8.22.20. That morning I called the store to confirm a delivery window and was told the couch was still on back order and would be available October 3, 2020 with a new delivery date of 10.5.20. On October 5th I received a call from the where house stating they were on the way with the chaise portion of the couch. I had not received a text, email or phone call to confirm the delivery. I told them I did not want a partial delivery and I would prefer to wait for the complete couch. I was told the sleeper portion was still on back order until October 19th. I rescheduled a new delivery for that day. Today the delivery truck came with only the chaise portion of the couch. I refused the partial delivery and was told that by doing so they may give the chaise portion of the couch to another customer and increase my already considerable wait time. I asked the lady in the where house how do they plan to compensate me for my inconvenience and she told me to call the store. I told her I am not calling anyone. You all need to make this right or I am cancelling the order. She said she will have the store contact me. My new delivery date is now November 5, 2020.
I bought a sofa and a chair from Ashley in Hawthorne after having the set which was expensive. It was presented as leather. It began to peel. I called Ashley and explained what was going on. They told me my warranty had just expired and they didn&'t repair peeling furniture. I paid for leather, sure feels like vinyl to me. Don&'t spend your money on deceitful people with no customer service.

put the same review on yelp... Bought a sectional couch, and couple of other items from here on 8/22 (paid in full including delivery/setup fee) They said it would be delivered in 2 weeks. Week after they called and said it has been back-ordered and won't be available until 10/4.. We really liked the couch and weren't in a rush, so whatevs. On 10/1, We get a text confirming the delivery date and time. (Screenshot attached) On 10/4, Date of the scheduled delivery, I drive to delivery location in Big Bear, CA which is a 3 hours drive. No one shows up. We call customer Service ourselves, and they said it's backordered and won't be delivered that day. At this point I no longer trust that we're ever gonna see the couch so we asked for a refund. The customer service lady was nice, professional and apologetic. She got our info and said to go to the Store so they can refund it back to our card. On 10/5 - I go to the Store and talk with a sales manager, Antonio "Tony" Cruz. He looks up the info and says "what if I told you, you could have this by end of this month", I asked to give me a discount and put it in writing that it will be delivered this time. He makes me wait while he "checks the system". It was taking too long and told him I have to leave. He said, "the system is rebooting"; Now, I am not accusing anyone of lying, but I will say that I could see the monitor reflection and the screen was up and running fine, you guys make your own judgement. I certainly gave him the benefit of the doubt and told myself the software is probably rebooting in the background or something. He gave me his card and said, he'll work out the numbers and will call me in an hour or 2 and if I didn't like the price he could refund over the phone so I wouldn't have to go back in the store... I was cool with that, I said thanks and left. Can u guys guess who never called in an hour or 2? Yep, Antonio Cruz never called back in an hour or 2. About 4 hours pass and I call the store, put on a never-ending hold. I decided to give them until the end of the day before taking any further actions. At this point in the story, speaking with Ashley Furniture would result in a non-pleasant and most likely a non-constructive encounter, so I didn't call them and instead called my credit card company, and reported them. They put the credit back on on my account and they will deal with Ashley Furniture. (side note: Amex Platinum.. just amazing totally worth the $550 annual fee for stuff like this) This business is run by juveniles. At some point I will report them to BBB and Federal Trade Commission.not cool to treat people this way. I just wanted to throw a review and share my experience as hopefully it can help others. There are definitely other stores out there who would be grateful for getting business from their customer and will treat them with a bit more respect.

I had ordered a bed frame from the online store at the beginning of September with an expected delivery date of 9/23/20- the frame made it to my address, but the railings did not . I was devastated that I had to cancel the order due to some pieces not arriving for another month. After I searched online I decided to physically walk into the store and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Josh. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous. I told him what I was looking for and the price range I wanted to stay within. I walked out of the store with an ordered bed frame with great service.

I had the best experience buying furniture. Josh was amazing. I've bought furniture from the same Ashley location before and received excellent service then. This time, Josh worked with me to ensure I selected the pieces I will be living with for hopefully a super long time. I'm very please with my selections and I'm more pleased with the helpful service I received. Thank-you to Josh's manager who kindly lowered the price on one pieces I got. You all work so well with each other.
I ordered sofas, coffee table, bed, and entertainment set 2 months ago. They’re supposed to deliver a month ago, but still I haven’t heard anything from them. They didn’t even show up. I spent more than$4000. Thinking I should cancel. Wasted my time waiting for delivery, no calls either. I trusted Ashley’s cat it’s a big company I can’t believe they just take money and don’t deliver.
Me and my husband visited the Torrance store this evening to do some comparison shopping. We had the pleasure of being assisted by Josh. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, patient and courteous. I saw several sets that really appealed to me, but my husband was not convinced. Josh explained the sale options that were available. My husband insisted that I wait and do a little more shopping. But Josh helped me with information that I used to convince my husband this was the best purchase for us after we had left the store, and I was able to get him to turn around and take me back to make the purchase! Thank you so much Josh!!!!

This review is solely based on the rude, racist, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional manager, Ritchie on 9/11/20. I wish there was the capability of negative ratings, but oh well.I asked to speak with the manager. I saw Dar (sales associate) informing him I wanted to speak with him. I observed him talking to others, and after waiting over 25 minutes, I asked Dar was he aware I was waiting to speak with him, and she said, &"he said you&'d just have to wait on customer service&". I might add, there was one customer service person who I waited for over 10 minutes. While she initially began making excuses about having to use the restroom, she eventually did provide me with the information I needed.I walked around, spending a half hour waiting. I found him sitting in an office talking to staff, making no effort to speak with me. I asked him was he aware I was still waiting to speak with him, and he replied, &"give me a few minutes&". When he finally came out of the office, he walked up (behind the partition), no where near me, and yelled, &"what did I want&". Since I was sitting on a bed several feet away, I said I wanted a private conversation. He mumbled something, as the staff looked up at him, then me. When he walked toward me, he offered no apology for the delay or ignoring me. I asked him why he didn&'t address me earlier when staff.., at which point he loudly interrupted me. He said, &"do you want to address problem or just complain?&" Before I could speak, he again talked over me. I asked if he could let me finish, which he refused to do. He was sarcastic, and it was clear he didn&'t want to speak with me. He mumbled something, and when I asked for the GMs name, he loudly stated, &"can I be dismissed now&", making some sort of animal sound. I responded exactly in a manner he would understand, as I don&'t deal with assholes, especially those pretending to be a manager.He later watched me out door, standing less than 6 feet to the customer service rep. Funny he had no time to assist me, but plenty of time to racially profile me and disrespect me, making sure I left the store. I asked Dar when the manager would be in, and she responded.The white customers weren&'t treated as disrespectfully as the blacks were, and the white customers commented on the treatment (or lack thereof) he gave me. 30 minutes wasted in this store. While this idiot had no problem standing right next to multiple white people, he yelled at me from at least 10 feet. At no time, did I witness him assisting anyone of color.I will update this review after speaking to the manager tomorrow. At this point, I&'d avoid this location like the plague until they understand that ALL people deserve to be treated with respect. I see why they have so many bad reviews, and won&'t purchase anything else from this location.
Customer Service are Bullies; they made u feel like they doing you a favor for asking about your delivery. Once they get their money they treat you like nothing. Ashamed and disgusted by their service. I WILL NEVER NEVER WILL BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY EVER!!! I will also advice anyone who plans to. If they can't train and educate their employees here then I assume it's the same every location and will never risk the frustration they putting me now
To whom it may concern my husband and I (Barbara) visited the store today and was approached my a young name Joshua our first impression was do this young man even know what a middle age couple like in their home but little did we know this young man not only showed us the furniture that he believed we may like but he went out of his way and took his time to explain every little detail of the furniture that we brought he knew the name and the quality of every piece of furniture we asked him about without looking at the brand or price tag we must say we were really impressed by this young sales man and we must say this is a young man that knows his stuff and we wish that we had more young people in the world like him caring more about his customers than himself or his cell phone while at work if we owned a business we would hired him in a New York minute ( sorry that's a New York saying) overall we really appreciate him and his boss Camry who he said had trained him so for now may God continue to keep Ashley Furniture Store during this Pandemic time and after thanks again The Puryear's
Yvonne did an excellent job helping me out. She was very patient as I walked her through the store to see all my options and prices. Tony was also great and helped me get the great deal I was looking for. Overall great staff and a happy customer.
Worst ever! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! We bought a bed that broke the first night! Customer service was some of the worst I've experienced and they would not even accept our return. I should have just bought my bed on Amazon like a normal person.

This is a horrible store! Not recommended for anyone for service nor merchandise! Ordered an item in June of 2020 to have delivered in August and so far nothing not even a confirmation of the order being available. WORST OF ALL THEY ARE RACIST!!!!! It was NOT a simple employee that was racist.... it was a manager! A Person who represents the store and their beliefs.... I went in store to request the cancellation of the product I ordered and was assisted by Jeida. I made my request in clear English and her response was that I had to sit down since I would have to wait a while to be assisted. As I was waiting, she would just eyeball me and constantly check on what I was doing as if I were suspicious, and then requested for an employee that spoke Spanish to come to the front. An employee then walked up and asked what she needed and her response was, " CAN YOU ASK HER WHY SHE IS CANCELLING IN SPANISH??" I just looked at her in complete confusion, because I know I DID NOT REQUEST FOR SOMEONE TO SPEAK TO ME IN SPANISH!!! Just because I am Latina doesn't mean I don't know how to speak English!!! The employee could tell that I was furious and was completely embarrassed. I was so infuriated, and offended that I left home immediately. Once I calmed down I called the store requesting for a manager and surprise, surprise it was the same rep that was rude to me and stated that she was a manager and that if I had problems or concerns it would have to go through her. I am still waiting on a call back from one of her supervisors and no luck. I don't think anyone is calling me back....

I went into this store a few minutes ago. Worst customer service ever. First of all they have signs up that they check temperatures. There was nobody up front upon entry into the store. Second a gentleman walked passed me with acknowledging me. I stood looking at dining room sets for about ten minutes and I was never asked did I need help. I then walked up to the gentleman who passed me earlier and asked could he help me. He just stood there and never asked how he could help me, yet he was answering questions for other customers. I hate to feel as if it was racial but he seemed offended that I asked him a question, but he freely answered the Spanish customers. I am a military spouse and I've lived in many diverse communities and you know when someone doesn't want to wait on you. Every customer should be treated with dignity and respect. I will now cancel my Ashley credit card, and I will definitely tell a friend. We will no longer patronize businesses where we don't matter. M
We ordered a bed with storage space and did not receive that bed. We also ordered a dresser did not receive that and were not told when we would receive it. Called and left messages never received a call back. So I went to the store and was told that I did not order the storage bed because they didn’t write it up right. So if I wanted the storage bed it would cost me an additional 250. So I decided not to spend the additional money instead I bought the night stand. I was then told my dresser wouldn’t come for another 2 to 4 weeks. Initially we were told the bed and dresser would come together . I’m very disappointed with the fact that we were told one thing and given another and I feel they didn’t take responsibility for their mistakes.
Great service and wonderful selection. We purchased a piece of furniture that we have been struggling to find at countless other stores. We walked in and my wife saw this piece right away and said she was in love with it. The sales prices they run are incredible and very hard to beat. Highly recommend.
I had a scheduled appointment. When I walked in I was greeted by the employee at the podium and I told him I had an appointment. That just went through 1 ear and out the other. I was told to look around but I had already knew what I was going to buy. We kept walking around the store and employees were just standing around doing nothing. I was highly disappointed at the service. Finally I just walked up to an employee and asked for help. It was a mad house in the store but that was the point of the appointment. I didn't feel the need to book 1 if no one was going to pay attention. I will probably not go back to that particular store again.
This is my first time at Ashley furniture. Not very satisfied at all. Purchased a queen bed and a mattress when it was time to be delivered the person asked if I had a box spring. I said one didn’t want to come with it, he said no it’s a separate purchase. The driver said the bed can still be slept on until I can purchase a box spring. Tried to call the store was on hold and then disconnected. I ended up having to go to the store, the supervisor assisted me but giving me a discount on a boxspring. Boxspring came two days later they were told that they could not put on bed frame which was fine. As we removed the mattress the wood in the middle was cracked (I imagine cause bed was slept on). We told delivery driver he gave us a number to call which was the wrong number. I just tried to call store again and was told to leave a voicemail message after waiting 15 minutes. So now I have to make one more visit to the store. Why would a salesman sell a bed and not mention that a box spring would not be included? This is the first and last time I shop at this Ashley furniture store. That is all.

Very unhappy with my overall experience with Ashley furniture. The furniture I purchased was delivered in May and has a strong bad ODOR! SMELLS!!!!! We are now in August and I still have smelly furniture that makes all of my house smell bad! It gives me headaches!!!! I regret purchasing from Ashley furniture!

My mom and I were ignored while we walked throughout the whole store. I watched employees approach others. I can only assume why that was.
Worst customer service and lack of competence when it comes to problem solving. To begin, we were given to a different sales person half way through our purchase, which began the confusion. We scheduled everything, table, chairs, rug, plates and placemats to be delivered yesterday. The plates and placemats were not with the delivery and we were told we had to pick them in the store. After a weekend of moving, that’s the last thing we wanted to do, but we went today to pick them up. Were they boxed up and ready to go, of course not. We did get to see two customer service associates argue back and forth while we waited so that was something. They finally packed the dishes from the floor into a random box and handed it to us. When asked about the placemats, three people acted clueless. We left with no placemats, which isn’t even the issue, the issue is the lack of professionalism and ability to solve a problem that they created.
I purchased a king size bed and frame, the frame broke with in the first month. They said they would send out a replacement part...still waiting (April) here in July 29th. I also purchased thinking "this company rocks there taking care of me" a couch set...the couch comes and 4 weeks later the autumn shows up...and I come home and the base is broken on one side...like really...I've sent emails, voice messages after with several times for 15 minutes...should be a 0 star...if all this cheap furniture could fit in my truck I'd take it all back...at least when you shop at IKEA you know your getting IKEA...
Spent $8000 there and were notified the day before our items where scheduled to arrive that not all the pieces would be arriving. We went to the store in Hawthorne, CA to speak to Charles, the store manager and he was not helpful at all. After waiting over 6 weeks to get our furniture and getting rid of our furniture in anticipation of our delivery, we found out the couches we purchased are being discontinued and therefore we are not likely to ever receive them. We tried to purchase the floor model but the price he gave us was a joke and we were also told we had to pick it up ourselves. So now we no furniture due to their failure to communicate the status of our delivery. Horrible customer service. Do not go there!!!

We were so excited to purchase a new adjustable temperpedic bed and decided to get a couch and bedroom set as there current deal of 60 months to pay it off was amazing. We worked with a sales man, and yes I realized he was doing his job as a salesman which is too frustrating as he kept giving us more deals with more things we bought . We got our adjustable bed delivered Sat am-- they started texting us around 715am!! Yes a little too early for me and arrived at 745. Nice guys but that's were it ended--they removed our mattresses which we were told they would take but they refused. They came in and out within 15 min. No instructions on how to use the remotes. We were there first delivery which was supposed to be from 830-1230. We were nice enough to let them in 45 min early and it felt like they ran out!! I called the store, was on hold for 30 MIN!! Lovely customer service. Spoke with our salesman and finally the manager who called us back 3 hours later. All they could say was sorry. The bed is awesome as we you tubed the instructions . We decided that due to their horrible customer service we were going to return everything else we purchased that has not been delivered. I called the store again today, another 25 min on hold and was told I needed to come in to cancel my transaction. This time I was in and out in 20 min--no questions, no "can we do anything to change your mind?". What I learned??? You get what you pay for and apparently both Living Spaces and now Ashley Furniture both SUCK. Maybe the furniture is ok but customer service horrible from the very beginning!!Be very cautious shopping at this store
The one star is for the customer service in the store they did a wonderful job, the missing stars represent the rest of the company they are so unprofessional all they do is lie about delivery dates, and are very knowledgeable about there products delivery system and business aspects. I went in and bought a bed and a mattress I received the bed with no mattress they call me and let me know the day of delivery that it would not be delivered I took the day off of work to wait for my order they promised me if again 4 days later after the 4th day still no merchandise I went into the store and they told me that they could schedule it a week from the day that I went in so I asked for a refund but because I paid in cash is going to take me 2 to 3 weeks to get my refund check in the mail. Did I mention that I have been sleeping on the floor because I had gotten rid of my old furniture so that the new furniture can be delivered oh and that I'm pregnant. When I ask to speak to a manager for the delivery department she has such a horrible attitude not only did she not want to get my furniture out on time but she didn't want to offer me any comfort through the situation she had an ol well attitude I'm so happy that the merchandise was for me and not one of my design clients I hate to promise a client something and it doesn't get to them in time

Valía Bullain at the Torrance, CA store was very knowledgeable as she explained the different brands of mattresses. She was attentive to our description of what we were looking for, and worked at understanding our needs. As a result of our visit to Ashley, we walked away with the perfect mattress for us, that met our personal needs while staying within our budget.

Went there during the Covid and got our dining set at 50% off! Simon was great. Not pushy, but helpful. Will update when we get our delivery next week.
RUN, RUN, RUN, AS FAR AWAY POSSIBLE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! Came in on June 27th around 1PM, was greeted by sales associate Joanna. She was very helpful and kind at first. I was indecisive to purchase the coach set, therefore gave me her business card with her contact information. She went back and forth with her manager giving me a "deal". She told me if I purchase the couches which I paid $1,700 for both, her manager approved a $200 gift card for the store when my couches were delivered. I never asked her to write it down or for her manager to put it on paper because I TRUSTED HER & HER MANAGER. When the couches were delivered, I asked the driver where is the gift card and he said I would have to contact the sales woman in regards to the gift card. I tried getting a hold of the manager from this location, no luck. I called Joanna and she finally answered and told me it was a promotion of $100 for shopping during this weekend and she's on stress leave. I was tossed like a used mop back and forth between these people. This was my first and last time I sill ever shop with Ashley Furniture. The staff will do anything to get the sale by lying to their potential long term customers. I don't appreciate to be lied to and taken as a fool. If you cannot hold your end of the bargain don't even mention an additional promotion.
We had a good experience with our sales person. We left the store satisfied. (We paid $1,200 cash). When bedroom set was delivered, we noticed that it was not the best quality. The bunkie board that was recommended was NOT a good fit. Now we have a huge gap between the mattress and the headboard. We went to the store since thats what we were advised to do after calling the sales rep. Spoke to the manager, she basically said theres nothing she could do due to covid. I now have to buy a boxstring! She said "give me a minute" and walked away. We waited for at least 30 minutes. When we decided to leave the store. She saw us leaving and didnt bother stopping us. I cant believe she allowed an unsatisfied customer to walk out. This was our first experience with Ashey furniture. And sadly, the last.

Delivery scheduled for the next Tuesday.Saturday,I found one item listed for $150 cheaper on their website.I called the store multiple times over several days between Noon and 5:00pm and received a &"we are closed, please call back during business hours of 11:00am to 7:00pm&". I was unable to reach anybody over the phone. Messages were not returned.Monday,I went into the store, spoke with customer service, and they quickly price matched and refunded the difference to my card.Tuesday, Items were delivered. Delivery people were very rude. I began to open the box to inspect the item and he said, &"We don&'t have time to wait for you to check out the items. We have more deliveries.&" I said, &"I won&'t sign for the items unless I check them.&" He replied, &"That&'s not our policy.&" Being rushed, I took a quick peek in the boxes. There was no obvious damage so I signed and he quickly went on his way.I assembled the first item without issue.On the second item, a book shelf, all ten screw holes for the metal racks were off by about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch each.Again, I called the store multiple times over two days between Noon and 5:00pm trying every button combination and received a &"we are closed, please call back during business hours of 11:00am to 7:00pm&".Thursday,I went in the store and spoke with a manager. He offered to trade the floor model for my defective model. However, he wanted me to pay for transport of both the defective model and the floor model, which I will not do. I will not pay any extra for their defective item.He then said he would schedule a technician to visit my house and inspect the item. The technician was to call on Friday to schedule. He also said the general manager, Charles, would call me on Saturday morning to discuss my options.The technician did not call.Charles did not call.Saturday afternoon,Went to the store in person. Waited in line for about an hour at guest service. People in line ahead of me and behind me were there to see Charles. They told me that the store&'s management had lied to them as well and they came in person to straighten it out. (Three different families said this to me.)Spoke with Charles and he had no knowledge of my issue nor had a case number been created for a technician to visit my house.He created a case number and assured me that a technician would call me by Monday at the latest.I replied, &"I need this replaced quickly or refunded&" to which he said, &"We don&'t refund, that&'s not in our process.&"Funny that they expect us to follow their processes, but they haven&'t honored their end of it.Tuesday,Call never came. I don&'t have time to go to the store every time there is an issue.Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As of this writing, they have a one star average rating on the BBB.I expect a replacement bookshelf delivered and the defective item picked up at no additional charges to me. I, the customer, should not pay anything further for them to replace their defective product.Funny, we budgeted 20k for furniture for our home renovation this Summer and this place blew it on a $400 bookshelf.They will not get another penny from me.I recommend you avoid this store or find another Ashley, as I believe they are independently owned and operated. We ordered a leather recliner upon delivery we noticed a scratch on the leather. We told the delivery person who spoke little English we wanted it replaced. He said yeah they will call you in 24 hours. We went to the store sorry there’s nothing we can do. They will call you in 24 hours. It’s now been 72 hours and NO call. Never ever order from Ashley. Their customer service is horrible and they lie directly to your face. I am going to report them to the BBB
We were so happy with our experience at this location! Joshua was knowledgeable, kind, and personable. We purchased a bedroom set and sectional, and he made sure we got a good deal.
The sales rep Beatriz was kind and understanding, did not give any negative impression while I was browsing, let me take my time and made sure to address her managers to find the exact pieces and colors I wanted. Currently waiting for the arrival of my items, but so far all good things!

NOT HELPFUL, LIES, AVOIDS YOU AT ALL COST and won't give us the credit that customer service has given my parents for their mistake. This is ONE year later mind you. We were suppose to have delivery last Saturday and now this Saturday to find out it's been canceled. We even had to pay the difference. How is it canceled when we paid the difference? He said he fixed it and we would have it delivered today. All to find out once again he failed to follow through. How does this even happen when the manager promises that he will take care of it? After everything he said he can't find the credit now? Tell me how that is possible when you found it the first time? This is the worst customer service we have ever received. Please don't go here they will take your money and then not even help you get your product. They will also shine you when you are there and try to avoid confrontation and say they are in a meeting when they are right behind the desk! Terrible!!! We will be contacting corporate now.
Horrible, horrible duplicitous and deceiving, non-existent customer service and sub-standard business practices. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they came up short, verging on criminal. I am demanding a full refund of my money based upon false advertising and lies. Do yourself a favor and run not walk away from spending your hard earned money here!!!!!Right as quarantine ended, I decided that I would spend some of my hard earned, working class income to treat myself to a new couch and love seat. Being an essential worker in the medical field, I had been working through Covid-19. I went to Ashley&'s in Hawthorne and paid on the spot $1200 for these items. I was told that the product was on back order and would take 4-6 weeks for delivery and i was ok with that.I started to get a little anxious after week 5 that I had not heard from anyone with any kind of an update. I tried calling the store, after a 49 minute hold I was forced to hang up. I called the customer service line and was told I would have to contact the store. You cannot email the company or the store manager.I went to the store 2 days ago and was greeted by the sales associate who sold me the furniture who said he told me 4-8 weeks, that was my first red flag as it was inaccurate information. I was told to wait and speak with the manager who told me my items would be delivered by Sunday June 21st and to expect a confirmation text by June 19th and if I didn&'t to text him. I received no confirmation text and to add insult to injury when I did text and call the manager, he did not respond to either. I called Customer Service and the gal said my items will not be delivered until July 12th for one piece and get this, Dec 31st for the second.I am going in tomorrow to request a full refund and part ways. STORE MANAGER CHARLES WILL LIE, CHEAT AND SCAM YOU. HE WILL SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE THE SALE THEN HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AT ALL. This has been literally the worst buying experience I have ever had. I went to mattress firm and purchased a tempur pedic mattress. Lovely experience. I then came to Ashley's to find a bed. While there they encouraged me to cancel my order with mattress firm and purchase the mattress with them. If I did this they would give us the bed for free. Seems like a great deal right? It was NOT WORTH IT. When we got our delivery only one of the required two bunkie boards was ordered. Had to send the whole delivery back. Then they send us the delivery again and they send the wrong bunkie boards! They did offer to send us the correct ones for free. So we have our mattress and bed. And we want to exchange the mattress for a better one. The store manager CHARLES is a liar and a scam artist. We showed up to the store the day of our delivery to request to exchange the mattress. He told us we must keep the bed 30 days before exchanging but he would contact his superior to see if something could be done sooner. Mind u I am 9 months pregnant. I don't want to have my water break and mess up this bed I don't want to keep. I called about a week later to see if we can exchange the bed sooner. He said yes. The 30 day wait period is not valid anymore. He sent in the request and now we are waiting for the credit to be issued to exchange. I called everyday for about 5 days. He gave us his cell number to reach him. He rarely responded to texts. His customer service lady (who may be a little slow) called and said "hey! I have some good news and bad news, bad news is you have to keep the bed 90 days but I was able to reach someone at customer service and u can call them and see what they will do." Disappointed, I say well what's the good news? She says "I was able to reach someone!" Smh. Anyway so I'm thinking worse case is I have to wait 30 days. Now all of a sudden it 90. I contact Charles again and he tells me he made it clear from the beginning about the 90 day period. Which is a lie. I have multiple text messages where he says the exchange request has been approved and we are waiting for the credit. Another text originally saying we have to wait the 30 days. He NEVER said anything about 90 days. I speak with customer service who listened to my story and said she would make an exception and allow me to exchange the mattress. But I can't change my mind again. She says the credit could show up same day or 72 hours max. Ok great, sigh of relief. I call 3 days later and am told the regional manager did not approve the credit and I have to keep the bed at least 30 days. Like wtf!? I thought it was already approved? They tell u a million different things that don't make any sense. So now I'm at the point where Ok fine! I'll wait 30 days. But don't let the 30 days pass and now it's 90 all of a sudden. I'm ready to sure these people! I will NEVER RECOMMEND ASHLEYS NOR PATRON THEIR BUSINESS AGAIN. Update: Charles offered to send us the correct Tempur pedic ultra low profile bunkie board for a king bed. Free of charge. (Side note: I don't think they're allowed to give tempur brand stuff away so I'm sure they were just the Ashley's bunkies). I had Joanna (sales rep) send me a picture of the invoice and repeated several times the correct bunkie board since this will be the third attempt at this. She sent me a screen shot of the invoice and it said SPLIT CALIFORNIA KING bunkie boards. I immediately corrected her and reminded her again that we need REGULAR KING!! She said she would have the customer service lady ANNA fix it. A few moments later she calls me and said CHARLES says the split Cali king is the only bunkie boards they have for king beds. It is compatible and that's what they use for king beds too. Everyone knows cal king and regular king are completely different! I called mattress firm AND ANOTHER ASHLEYS STORE who both confirmed tempur pedic does have a king bunkie board (2 twin XL's) and those are the ones to use with a king bed. And using anything else could void the warranty. So either CHARLES NICOLAS (or Nichols) has no knowledges if the items he's selling or he lies and scams customers all day long. I'm sure it's the latter of the two. Beware.

This Ashely’s is great Ashely’s Joshua Tavra made my experience for buying a bed so much easier and smooth we were out in less then 30 mins and bought the bed. I recommend going to see him if you ever need furniture. We will be back soon !
My wife and I went in to buy a sofa and recliner, the salesperson Rey told us we were getting the 30% sale price and that we couldn't combine that with the $100 gift card I was given during my last purchase . After a lot of typing, we were told that she had to get her manager to change the price,which was double the listed price. I assumed there was a mistake and that he would fix it and apply the discount. After more typing , the price comes down and he offers the five year plan for $50 , what a deal. Never once did any number reflect the actual price of the sofa/recliner set or a 30% discount. It wasn't until we got home and looked closer at the receipt,which makes no sense, and the online price, that I realized we saved nothing. The price we paid was virtually the same, more if you include the $100 card I was told I couldn't use. We are very personable people and it's extremely insulting to be lied to and scammed the way we were. We would have made the purchase regardless, and they decided to be deceitful to the point that the manager acted like he was giving us a deal on the warranty when it comes with the furniture anyway. The online price includes delivery and warranty. BUY FURNITURE ELSEWHERE!!!

If i could give zero stars i would! The bedroom set is absolutely awful! The sales person was very nice and helpful, but the manager's are no help at all. I purchased my bedroom set in January and it is now the end of May. I was told this was a "high end" model when in actuality that was just a line to sell the set. I had a technician scheduled 3 times and it was canceled every time. The store i purchased from kept telling me that i had to wait for the technician. I have had the set replaced three times now with the same quality. Wood particles fall when i open the drawers and they scrape as you open them makinga loud scraping noise. The center glide has no support whatsoever. The headboard drawers wobble as they open and one came off as the delivery men were here. I just cannot believe the quality of the bed for the price i paid. I am so upset! I feel like this is never going to get resolved.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! I received my order (an outdoor sectional) that arrived damaged! The furniture was cracked and the cushions look like they've been driven over by truck tires. I have called Ashley Customer Service 11 times and continue to get disconnected! I've emailed their customer service & received a response stating "at this time they are NOT responding to emails". Incredibly disappointed and want this trash picked up and refund issued! Their 72 hour policy is a JOKE! Lesson learned! Spread the word and don't shop here!
Worst customer service ever!!!! What ever you do never deal with this company!!!!! I bought some furniture in December so we could have it for Christmas. When the delivery came they gave us the wrong bed. My son signed for the bed and we didn't realize it was the wrong bed till we got home. We immediately tried to call the store but couldn't get through. We immediately went to the store and that is when the craziness started. Evidently the salesmen wrote down the wrong number for the bed we wanted. Who ever checks the number??? At the start they said the furniture was signed for and we could not return it and get the bed we wanted???? They said there was nothing we could do because the furniture was signed for. We could not return or exchange it. The manager with a neck tattoo got threatening towards us when we wouldn't accept this. When we let them know our underage son signed for the furniture and we were going to take them to court they finally said that they would exchange the bed for the one we wanted. But it never came???? They kept on changing the delivery date and finally never showed up??? I called the credit company and they said they would have the store contact me and they froze my account. Nobody ever contacted me from the store. Now I just got a letter saying that the credit company looked into it and I got a bed so I have to pay for it. Never ever shop here.... they are very dishonest. It is a real shame they wouldn't own up to an honest mistake and make it right. They wouldn't even let us return or exchange the wrong item they gave us.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I ordered an expensive piece of furniture two weeks ago as a birthday gift, with a week of extra time between the delivery date and birthday if there were issues. The day of, I received a UPS notification that I apparently rejected the shipment when I wasn't even home. Come to find out, it was too damaged to be delivered. Fine, it happens. I called and asked for an expedited replacement since it was time sensitive, and was told there would be a 3 day process time for the request. Waited three days and called back several times (often, after 30 minutes on hold, it disconnects). When I got ahold of someone, I was told a replacement could be sent once they received the original within one to two weeks. I replied that was too long, and if they could just cancel the order completely, I would start a new order since shipping would be faster, figuring the odds were low BOTH shipments would be damaged. I made that request yesterday. Then I ordered the item again, this time using their promo code for 10% off. I never got a confirmation email so I logged on to view my orders and make sure it went through. It says my first order is still open and complete (not canceled and processing a refund), and that the second order was "open" , with no promo code and it actually came out to MORE than the first order. I called them again (they are no longer accepting emails, and the bot agent on the website doesn't work) and asked what was up. She said on her end, it showed the first order was still there, no cancellation, and that my SECOND order that I placed less than 24 hours ago was canceled. I never canceled it, and it was guaranteed to be delivered today. I have a picture of the confirmation page stating the price and delivery day. I am now sitting with two charges and zero items in my possession. I am supposed to wait three days to get a call about a resolution but by then the birthday will be passed. I will not order from this company again.
During this pandemic,I have noticed there are plenty of people to help sell you items but no one answers for existing orders. I had an agent tell me my order was a 2 day order and it said next day for me until they got their money. Then no delivery date and no one answering phones.
Purchased a couch because my last one gave out on me. So I used the Ashley website to order a couch to be delivered. I was given a delivery window of 1pm-4pm. Having this information, I decided to base my day around this delivery window. Unfortunately, the delivery drivers decided to show up at 10 am and I had to rush home to receive the delivery. Next the delivery guys told me that the couch wouldn&'t fit through the door and they they would have to take it back... unless I paid them $80 cash to move it through the balcony door. I needed the couch and my day was now thrown off so I decided to let them hustle me. They get the couch in drop the pillows off, take a picture of it and take off. Assembly was easy and I got what I expected, the couch is comfortable and looks nice. That&'s when the second kick to the groin came... Ashley decided to charge me for a premium delivery (without contacting me) adding the $50 charge to my card. So yeah, not only did the drivers con me out of $80, but then they hit me with another $50 charge on the back end. I tried calling customer service whose number is buried on their website, and I sat on hold for an hour before getting a notification that their call centers were now closed. So now I&'m waiting for a response from the email I sent and will most likely waste a large chuck of my day waiting for someone to answer the phone tomorrow. 1/5.
Shame on Ashely furniture for taking advantage of a family who has a child with a compromised immune system. During this time in the world companies need to show more compassion toward the people who are most effective by this outbreak. Ashley furniture is expressing they only are protecting their profit which in turn is stealing from people in need. I was delivered a defective piece of furniture and now Ashley furniture is refusing to honor any of their agreements or even adapt to these time of crisis for elderly and cancer patients. It makes me sick that this company is only trying to recovery any profit sales made this past month. It's disgusting customer service and shameful to take advantage of people at this time
On January 02,2020 my husband and I purchased a Bedroom Set from Ashley Furniture in Torrance Ca. We were informed that we would have partial delivery of out items on January 19,2020 and the other part on Feb 08,2020 we agreed. 2 Days prior to our Delivery Day I contacted the Customer Service only to find out they have pushed our Delivery to March 22,2020. Monday March 15,2020 I contact Ashley Furniture regarding my Delivery schedule for March 22,2020 and I was informed they will not be delivering our Bedroom Set because they didn&'t have the rails in Stock until April 08,2020. About an hour ago I get a text from Ashley Furniture letting us know our Bedroom Set will arrive until May 04,2020. I cant believe it has taken over 3 months to get my Bedroom Set Deliver. This was suppose to have been a Valentine Present. They are unprofessional, rude and have really bad customer service. I ca

I purchased very expensive Pieces for bedroom furniture and was told about a great package for insurance on any damages to the pieces, Now the top of my dresser is pealing off and when I attempted to have them service the furniture, They claim it doesn’t fall under the plan, Really well what does ? How come they acted as if this plan was great, Had me pay for it and they can’t even assist in fixing my furniture. I also had them email veronica to see if they can refund me my insurance money . I feel they totally took advantage of me as a single mom I don’t have loads of money to hand out for nothing .
We had a very bad shopping experience, more than 20 days to deliver a product that they promised to deliver in 3 days, a store manager who never presented any solution and finally move to another Ashley store to return the money and another inefficient process To deal with the case, in short we do not recommend this store.
Do not shop at Ashleys Furniture in Torrance, 19800 Hawthorne Blvd. I ordered my daughters furniture 2/2/20. The day of delivery 2/16/20 the headboard was broken so we sent everything back because of course we wanted to receive everything at once in good condition. Besides who wants a bedroom set in their room with a missing headboard with a footboard? Anyway I went to the store and complained to the manager (Cammy) who had me wait to speak with her who later sent me to speak with a regular associate named Stephanie. Told them both it was a huge inconvenience because we now had to wait a month and 6 days (3/8/20)for another delivery. I asked Stephanie for compensation at least waive the shipping fee but they weren’t receptive of it and said it was nothing they can do because I sent everything back but had I kept everything except the headboard they would’ve been able to compensate me 🤔 Fast forward to 3/8/20 we received the bedroom set. There were 2 options for the mirror on the dresser. We specifically chose the mirror that matched the headboard. Unfortunately we did not received that mirror the bedding and art was also incorrect. I didn’t notice the mirror until later that day after signing for it because the mirrors are similar to one another and the bedding and art were in a box that I didn’t open until later on because I assumed it was correct. I called customer service yet again to complain and get it corrected. They stated since I signed for it, it was nothing they could do due to their no return, exchange policy. I argued back and forth stating I KNOW what I ordered and this needed to be correct ASAP again they said nothing can be done. I then called the corporate office and spoke with someone and she stated she couldn’t do anything I would have to take it up with the store manager 🤬 Constant runaround so at this point I’m livid. Mind you I kept it professional and didn’t get out of character. Now today I returned a missed called from Rodnesha at Ashley’s. I called the number back unfortunately couldn’t speak with her but was told the case was closed again because I signed for it at the delivery. I was told again I needed to go back to the store after I’ve already been to the store and didn’t get any help. I went back to the store this evening spoke with Stephanie again at the front desk. Explained to her I was back again unfortunately and I needed to speak with the sales person and a manager because we worked on this order for 2 days and he knows exactly what we ordered. While waiting to speak with the sales person who’s name I will not disclose because he took full accountability for what happened, I was sitting on the couch which I’m sure Stephanie and Cassy didn’t realize I was sitting on because they had a conversation about my situation which wasn’t so pleasant. Basically in so many words the spoke that they don’t know why I’m here because customer service already told me nothing can be done. Anyway spoke to the sales person who helped me from the beginning and he admitted that the wrong items were sent and ordered. Cassy (the manager) said they had to match the item numbers to the invoice and if they match it’s nothing she can do. I said so you have your sales person admitting that he entered the wrong item numbers and you’re telling me can’t do anything about it because I signed for it? It’s not my job to verify item numbers as a customer. I pointed out what I wanted and that is the sales person responsibilityand if he entered them incorrectly you need to honor that and send the correct items. She brushed me off to help another customer and never came back to resolve my problem. The sales person took full accountability or what was done and stated he will correct it tomorrow because customer service was closed. Which means this still haven’t been resolved. Moral of the story is customers are the reason they all have jobs and if a customer have a legitimate reason, fix it and be receptive of it. Both Cassy and Stephanie had a nasty attitude. Neither one of them were customer friendly and neither was the 800 customer service number or corporate. No one was willing to help or correct it. So because I had such a bad experience I’m sharing it with you all. We went in already knowing what accent chair we wanted. Ben Silverstein was the sales associate that helped us. He wasn't the typical stereotypical furniture sales person that you would imagine. He didn't hover, he wasn't pushy and gave us the space we needed. We got a beautiful chair and ottoman at a fair and reasonable price and it was delivered within the week. The delivery was painless and they removed all the trash. Because we had such a great experience, we went back and got a whole new bedroom set. Again, Ben was easy to work with and gave us the best, most competitive pricing. The bedroom set is absolutely beautiful and extremely well made. Again, the delivery was painless. They set up all the furniture exactly where we wanted it and got rid of all the trash. We had such a positive experience with Ashley Furniture and Ben Silverstein and would highly recommend this location. We will definitely be going back to this store first for any future furniture needs.

Came here since parents needed a new mattress, Stella helped us to answer our questions and find what we were looking for. She was excellent ! The next day, I get a call that we have go back to true store once again because apparently there system was down the day before and the financing did not go through. The day of my delivery I find out that they did not deliver all my items. I called customer service to let them know, they stated they could not get in contact with store, said someone would call me back-but did not receive call back. I decided to go back to the store and upon arriving to desk saw two employees sitting there laughing at their phones. I explained my situation to one of them and the entire time she was talking to me she was chewing her gum so hard and loudly. According to the person helping me, she want to speak to the manager in the office and the manager gave her a mattress protector to give to me which was supposedly just different because it was "newer". Luckily I went to look at the mattress protectors in the back and upon asking one of the other employees he was able to tell me that it was not the same material. Basically they were trying to give me a cheaper one then what I had paid for. I ended up going back to the lady at the desk and asked them to give me correct mattress protector shipped out because it was totally different/cheaper material. She told me she sent message to warehouse because they have to place new order but now have to wait longer for the mattress protector to get shipped out.
Beatriz and Tony (Manager) were amazing! They really hooked my husband and me up! They gave us amazing deals with added bonuses that no one else would think of giving us! The financing is amazing and unlike anyone’s else. So happy and satisfied with my purchase and everyone that helped. It was a great experience 😊

Most horrible, and pathetic managment in the world, I got wrong size mattress and adjustable base, and the refuse to exchange, furniture is damaged and scratched, they refuse to exchange, customer service talk nicely but, they don't help, Manager Charlie is located at Hawthorne location, he says don't come again to my store, otherwise I'll call to cops. They are mafia , please stay away I pay more then $3000 January 1st 2020. Still useless, and no help from top to bottom,

Went to this store late tonight to look at a bedroom set that I wanted to price match online. Salesman was terrible, didn't want to do any work to make the sale. Told me I had to pull the price match up and show him from the website! So I did. But, in order to get a grand talley up the total of a bed, 2 nightstands and dresser the store manager had to put that into the computer. In the interim I clearly stated I didn't need a mattress, had already bought one from someplace else. Boy, did he not want to talk to me or give me the price match and continue to question me like a used car salesmen about maybe the mattress I bought wasn't good instead he lost the sell because he just didn't go ahead and close me out. Totally not a good experience and a waste of my time. I was prepared to buy the bedroom set and pay cash and they lost out!
Ashley is a favorite of mine. Sectional sofa is soft and durable. Customer service is incredible....the list goes on.
My husband and I bought a bedroom set here back in November everything was delivered as scheduled except the bed frame. Delivery dates were being constantly rescheduled by company due to item not being in stock , this went on for 3 months . When we initially ordered the bed was suppose to come 2 weeks later not 3 months later. When the item was finally in "stock "bed frame was delivered it smelled horrible. It stills smells horrible and has been effecting my health. I have been having daily headaches and respiratory issues. I have tried cleaning bed-frame but it still smells horrible . Do not order further from here unless we want to feel sick!
PLEASE stop & read these complaints and don't "ASSUME" your experience will be different like I did. All the complaints about Charles is 100% true...& the service and quality of the furniture is junk!! Open the drawers on the dressers and do your due diligence and shop around. Walk in Living Spaces and just compare the quality and the same day service is a treat in itself. Ashley's delivery service is a whole different problem besides the service. Delivery people damaged my home & their repayment to you is Ashley gift card...Oh and by the way, when using them, you don't get the sale price. They are crooks...Poor excuse for management when you do have a problem. Why the heck Ashley's corporate office isn't looking into the complaints about Charles is ridiculous.

My first impression of the store was the look and feel of all the interior was great. The workers at Ashley came to us asking us if we needed assistance, and they were very helpful. Overall had a fantastic experience thanks and good job.

Very nice sales people, they were genuine and were truly trying to help us find what we were looking for. We thought the furniture was nice looking and well made, but we are trying to fit a king size bed in a queen size bedroom, so the sizes they had didn't work out .

These Yelps do not lie. They do not own the furniture. They order it from the other companies. They do not have inventory. My girlfriend ordered $1400 worth of furniture, and 2 months later, still nothing.... We can't even get a straight answer when we call them! We went into the store and they have no answer on why we have not received anything. Literally took our money, solidified the sale, and there customer service has no knowledge, we had to call a complete different department that has no relation to this store. It is insane! Get it together. Should of used Craigslist. Stay far away from this company, specifically this location.
After receiving a text message to confirm my delivery I cleared my schedule only to find out the delivery is delayed a week. After confirming with me it would be delivered I have to call to find out I am wasting my time? No phone call? This is after I had to cancel my initial order with a different Ashley homestore after they told me a week after my purchase that my dining set was discontinued and unavailable. I have been waiting for furniture for a month now with only a bean bag chair in my living room. Didn't realize a purchase with Ashley homestore would have me reliving my college days. I should buy some ramen and really immerse myself in this experience. Average wait time on my calls to customer service were twenty minutes and twice I would speak to someone only to be hung up on. Waste of time and money.

Don't come here, especially for a sealy mattress. So I recently discovered mold on my foam mattress. I arrived to Ashley's furniture and asked to speak to the manager. The manager didn't do much just offered some discount on the same mattress I purchased in 2018. Ignorant, why would I want the same mattress again. He offered a credit line which is not fair, I paid over 1,000 dollars on my mattress i should be able to get a refund. Unbelievable!

I am currently remodeling my home and to be honest it has definitely been more stressful than what I thought it would be. I've had gone to other competitor stores but wasn't satisfied with their prices and service until I came In To This Ashley's store. They made sure I got what I wanted at the budget that I had to furnish my living room and bedroom. The Manager Charles even made sure I got my furniture on the day I wanted. Great customer service.
I was searching for a new sofa we did our research and Ashley furniture was it. The sales lady was very knowledgeable and polite and friendly. The process was great and they kept us posted from sale to delivery. The delivery drivers were fast and efficient and friendly. Don't waste your time. This place has a guy that should work at McDonald's pretending to be a manager. In fact he would get fired from McDonalds. Wasted 7 days of my life ordering a dinner table. The manager Charles would walk by and avoid answering questions, avoid helping, avoid doing his job. Even worse, does his job wrong. I paid for and we agreed for home delivery + assembly. I never got my furniture and never got a phone call telling me when it would arrive. The day before it was set to arrive I went to the store and Charles, checked his computer and told me don't worry it will arrive between 6am to 12 noon. Next day our family waited and guess what, nothing arrived. Went back to the store to call him out, he was hiding and dodging not just me but other customers waiting to talk to " the manager," headquarters needs to fire this guy and hire a real professional. This business is at risk of going under with that guy as manager. The moron even messed up my order and put it under direct delivery. That means it would not be assembled at my house, this moron of a manager doesn't even know how to complete an order even to customers that are on top of things. Miracle that store sells anything. I'm gonna take my business elsewhere, sadly I'll never get the time I wasted at Ashley furniture back. Manager messes up my order. Does not have the common courtesy to apologize, and worse of all he runs and hides like a chicken. This business is at risk. Only a matter of time before it goes under with this management in charge.
DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! They have the worst Working Employees in this Store I went to buy a bedroom set paid for it and they said they would only deliver mattress and I had to pick up the. Rest of the set so when I went to pick it up I was waiting for 35 min to be helped by one person in customer service and then they did after I waited 20 min for the manager Charles to go find the merchandise after he comes back and tells me go back up the truck to the back so I did now I walk in he tells me we're was the bed set I was gonna get I told him how would I know if I'm not the one working here he said let me go find some one another 25 min pass by he comes back and tells me to go and start taking the bed fromThe display that that was the bed I purchased and I told him no that how was it that one I want a new one in the box so he said that's the one they sold me smh so I asked for my refund n he said they could only refund me what wasn't delivered so I told him I'll bring the mattress back and he said no refund !! As many of the reviews have mentioned, Charles is a horrible manager. He refused to discuss my order with me, would rather have his customer services reps go back and forth to only come back with NO INFORMATION. This was a waste of time and I'm disappointed because ALL of my other experiences have been exceptional. I would not recommend this store and would instead suggest going to living spaces or ANY OTHER furniture store. Most of the west coast stores are owned by the same guy, which you'd think would make it easier to navigate the backend of franchised stores, but clearly he doesn't care. So go ANYWHERE else but here for your furniture needs!
The online Price Match Promise is not honored at this location. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to expose this bait and switch mentality being practice at this location under the Manager Charles. I went in to purchase a bed that I saw advertised at a significantly lower price than price-tagged in store. I was led to believe the bed retailed for $1,199.99 with a 40% discount. Except it was significant cheaper online at other retailers selling the Ashley brand. The sales person told me that the store only prices matches Ashley online prices. Which IS NOT what the Price Match Promise states. I left the store to research the Promise as I had believed I understood it. I was given incorrect information in store and was basically lied to. I called to speak with the manager who I learned was Charles. Charles attempted to educated me on Ashley being a manufacturer as well as retail store (which I knew). His point...I guess...was that Ashley is a distributor and may sell at prices contrary to competitors. Which means nothing to me. In fact, the manufacturer should never be undercut by his vendor, but that's Ashley's inhouse issue. The consumer issue is that Ashley does not support its own Promise and does not properly train its employees. I can purchase from the competitor, but I have never met a well run business that was successful with this behavior. Shame on you! Also note, when my daughter and I walked in we were not provided assistance. We were made to walk around the store to look for a bed which I was fine with. But, it shows their lack of care. I guess I didn't look like a buyer. Had they been respectful I would have likely made a purchase I would've later regretted. Bad service actually paid off in this case.

Went to several stores looking for a good, comfortable mattress at a decent price. As soon as we walked in the store we were immediately greeted (reason for the 2 stars). This guy approached my husband and I and asked if we needed some assistance. He took us to the back to look at their mattresses. We informed him we were looking for a reasonable price, firm mattress. He then proceeded to tell us that he has been selling mattresses for 20 plus years and that we should not be looking for a firm mattress. He took us to the mattresses that cost over $3000. I didn't understand why he felt the need to only show us the expensive mattresses. We then told him we aren't looking for all the bells and whistles, just show us mattresses in our price range. He seemed a bit irritated and took us to look at more. I was not going to make a decision right then to purchase a mattress. I still wanted to shop around. After hearing that, he was done with us. Didn't even get a goodbye, thank you for coming in, or let me know if you have additonal questions. Just turned around and walked away. We left, and won't be returning.
Two words. Identity Theft- - had my personal credit compromised at this store. Stella knows who she is . My sofa is very nice, but a discount or percentage off would have satisfied me as a customer. I got nothing. I am spending quiet a bit of time reestablishing my credit after having my identity compromised at THIS STORE. No one really gives a damn. Now I know, and with this post others now know too. Ashely Furniture because I'm reasonable I generously give one star because I like my sofa. Everything else FU.
I loved the furniture I purchased from this location. But, once you purchase the furniture if you need anything else, the customer service sucks! I purchased a rug with my living room set and was told "after" the purchase that the rug would not be available for 2 months and that I could continue to follow-up with customer service thereafter on my own. Following up with customer service was a joke! Long hold times and no concern for your order and the sales person I worked with dropped me after the order was placed.. no follow-up and no assistance so I would not buy here again based on this experience. I also asked for a bottle of water after making a $2500 purchase and they told me they had none to offer! Really....??? Wow. Will not return.
Not even does this store deserve 1 star! Manager Charles is completely DISGUSTING and Henry could care less about his job so much so that he messed up my order not once but 3 times!! Long story short: The furniture came damaged. I should have followed my gut when i left the store and read the reviews. Litterally such a nightmare from start to finish. Dont bother calling the customer service number either about your delivery issues they dont care and will not resolve a thing! Save your time, and sanity and go else where. They do not deserve any ones buisness!!
I purchased a $3000 couch and they threw the pillows on the side of the street and unwrap the plastic around the couch in the truck. So, I no longer receive a new product but open box product. This store has horrible service. I've not received any follow up from customer service. Nor has the manager of the Hawthorne location called me back. I have requested a delivery refund and a credit for receiving an open product. However, the Hawthorne store location has never followed up nor has Ashley furniture customer service. I plan to report them to the better business bureau. Don't purchase anything from Ashley home store.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE! They are scam artist at this store. I signed to finance a particular amount and I received an additional significant amount on my bill they later charged. I went to speak to the store manager Charles and he was completely unprofessional and speaking over us while we were explaining to them what happened. They said we can take them to court if we wanted to and they can&'t do anything about the their charge that is completely unexplained. I&'ve never been treated so poorly by a store. Horrible service and scamming for more money!

Ashely is GREAT until they get your $$, then all customer service goes out the window. The delivery guy brought the wrong item. When I told him it was wrong, he bullied me and acted like I was wrong. Calling the store FAILED to help. I talked to 2 manager on the phone NO RESOLUTION. I went into the store, they saw that I had refused the delivery of the wrong item, they had the correct item IN STOCK IN STORE but refused to give me the correct item until the warehouse corrected their inventory number - even though they could see I did not receive the item. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE MANGERS, GO ELSEWHERE

After canceling a online furniture order from another company. It was a real pleasure walking off the street and working with Christian R. to find the perfect dinning room table and living room chair with a ottoman. My wife and I must have changed up our plan 5 different times but they worked with us till we were happy and came up with a payment plan that was more than fare. I absolutely am not a fan of furniture shopping because of so many bad experiences I've had in the past. The best part is that thanks to Christian we are gonna get our dining room table delivered in 4 days so we will have it for Thanksgiving. Can not say enough about all the staff that help us including the floor manager whom checked on us. Everybody swing by this store if you are updating your interior style. ***Update : 11/27 unfortunately the delivery service didn't bring all the parts to the very expensive dinning room table I bought...next projected delivery of part is Dec. 2nd . I am very disappointed.

My salesman Josh was the most courteous person at Ashley's I can't say that much about everyone else as they had basically giving me the three different people but I did end up with the best person professional courteous patient everything about him was such a pleasant experience and if I was to ever do business with Ashleys I would always go to Josh because he was the most fantastic employee that they have their I don't want to say much about everyone else the cashier people were rude and the other salesmen ignored me it didn't seem until I was approved for $6,000 to anyone else cared they do have beautiful furniture and everything is decorated very nicely the only thing is remember once you receive your merchandise there is no refund I understand the policy but things have definitely changed

He really took the time to help us find the right Sofa for our living room, he not only help with the prices but to find the right color and better quality. Very happy with his customer service! I recommend Josh for a salesperson. He was not pushy at all and very helpful. I had difficulty with first salesperson I worked with there a few weeks prior to being ready to but and am glad I gave it another chance. Also Anthony at Acceptance Now went above and beyond to help me with financing and hooking me up with a very helpful salesperson.

He showed me a few options and designs to help minimize my decision, I finally made up my mind so he introduced me to Richie(manager) he was also very kind friendly and bragged so much about how I was getting a very good deal since the three of us where going back and forth over the numbers of my purchase, we happily wrap up the sale with scheduling a delivery date..... a week later my nightmare begins!!! When I received my order it was incomplete, I call the store and neither of these two individuals were available to take my call so I had to drive to the store and Lauren is "on vacation" (supposedly) so I asked to speak to Richie and the nice friendly Richie I met a week ago turned out to be a complete JERK, his customer service as a manager was unacceptable! Turning me down with there's nothing I can do it's completely unacceptable. To begin with an apology was never said....apology for the mistake, for my wasted time of calling several times and never available for my calls, for having to drive all the way to their store to resolve issue, for the way I was treated! Giving me options for trying to work with me to resolve issue was never given, Richie was a complete failure as a manager because no I will never do business with your company again for the way I was treated and for the huge screw up, I am very unhappy with my purchase cuz my order was incomplete and upset and angry when I realized Lauren had double charged the down payment on my card FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!!!!Yes I am also sharing this yelp review like the other yelper mentioned on social media and making my post shareable so my friends and family can also share it, these two individuals did me and other customers wrong but I'm glad I can put their names on here to let customers know about their fraud skills
Josh terra was the most amazing sales rep every! He listened to my concerns and questions. He cared about my purchase as of it was his own. Let’s talk about Tony and Cammy the managers- let’s just say, there is a reason they are managers. Both had great customer service, positive attitudes and are made to help people the whole way through. I furnished 4 rooms in my house (2 livings rooms, kitchen and bedroom with an insane ergonomic bed) all for less than $16k. I recommend josh any day of the year to assist you with your purchases.
Ordered the wall art for birthday present. The costumer service is terrible, the manager of the store are not professional at all. My delivery was promised in 7, maximum 10, days (the manager said 3 days) but I’d received nothing! I called to costumer service in 10 days, they were rude and disrespectful, I have to wait for delivery 14 days from now. Very disappointed.

First time ever visiting a Ashley store, my husband and I happen to drive by and noticed that there had been a new stored opened near our home. We have been looking for a dining set for over three months and visited a few neighborhood furniture stores with no success. We really didn’t think we would find anything but we were in for a surprise. The choices and quality are pretty amazing. What I loved the most was the welcoming to the store and the effort to beginning a business relationship. The staff at the a Torrance location is exceptional props to Floyd and Pedro for all the help and making sure we left happy and satisfied with our purchase. We will highly consider our next furniture purchases at this location. I will most definitely recommend to all my friends and family to this store for their furniture and decor needs. We&'ve made a few purchases from Ashley&'s before. The items have always been of good quality. Our latest purchase was a sofa recliner. See, we had a leather sofa, Electric recliner, from Ethen Allen. While it looked great & felt like a million bucks, over a relatively short period of time, 3/4 years, we had issue after issue. Finally we decided it isn&'t necessarily what you pay. It&'s the product itself. Again having a leather Electric recliner we decided to look for a non leather, manual recliner. Well I&'m was pleasantly surprised when I found out, I&'d be paying a third the cost. And getting a sofa that not only looks good but it&'s as comfortable as can be. I&'d just recommend to anyone looking at a Electric recliner. Just be aware that it could be problematic and cost a fortune after what could be a short time. Further out then the manufacturer warranty allows & not covered by the extra protection plan!!!
Came to check out some bar stools for my kitchen. The show rooms were beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They had the largest selection of bar stools in comparison to other stores - even Amazon! They were having an sale and said they would also honor the prices they had online. I decided to wait and later I ended up purchasing stools on their website for (the same) great price as the store and they were delivered promptly to my front door!!!
